Yesterday green start, board rocket ship to yellows or something else I might have missed testing :lol: then blue surfing.

Today Neko broke two records, but not in a good way. Until this morning, she had a record of 6 AMPS in a row of green. Pretty amazing for my bouncy little girl. And last night she broke a record long 12 cycles with some green in them. That's pretty hard work for Neko - she deserves a rest break every once in a while. Just wish she'd let me know about it so I could have slept through that PM +8 test. :roll:

I've been setting PS back a few minutes every cycle to accommodate a meeting on Thursday, but this morning right when my alarm would normally go off, Neko announced loudly that it was breffs time. So much for the extra 10 minutes of sleep. Alarm cat 1, Bean 0. It's another typical Neko day. 5 P's, plus napping in the solarium now. Lot's of whacking as the kitties jockeyed for position at test time.

Beans will be off shortly on a shopping trip. DH is entering a big regatta this weekend, Northwest Regional Masters, in Vancouver Washington. We are shopping for athletic or performance fabric so I can modify a backup team jersey we got from someone else to fit him. Wish I could go to the regatta. Oh well, not sure Neko would like the trip.

Hi Wendy,
I think that's a pretty nice cycle for Neko today. Too funny about the kitty alarm. You can't mess with their schedules, you know :lol:

The regatta sounds neat. i wish you could go, too.

Our next paddle is on Saturday.

That was a great run of green AMPS for Neko - and too funny, the cat alarm wins everytime!! Wow your DH is a hard core rower! Do you have a regular pet sitter or place to board your kitties? Or does Neko enjoy field trips?

Another +9 surprise. Might have to try earlier tests to see where she's going with this dose. Although with Neko's dial-a-nadir, it's really hard to know when her low time is. Neko had some good nadir time before dinner, lots of solarium time today as the sun came out. :-D

Today was the last gabapentin pill in the week's trial. Not sure how much of a difference it made. I did talk with vetty and we'll try a higher dose - this was at the low end. I'll give it another week of that. At the same time, I did some hunting and found an acupuncture vet that isn't far away and is still taking clients! First appointment is next Tuesday. It's at a clinic where all the vets have extra training (acupuncture, chiropractic, holistic, etc.).

@Carla - Blues turned into green. Neko doesn't let me get a lot of extra sleep on this dose, but she's doing better.

@Ella - It did turn into a good one. Neko has always been pretty precise on her alarms. :lol: There's always next year for that regatta, but it depends where it is. Sometimes it's even further.

@Ruth - Still green. :mrgreen: DH is really into the sport for someone who got into it later in life. I would enter the regatta too but the logistics are tricky. I'm still thinking about entering the Canadian Masters Regatta that is in town in July. I do have pet sitters. One just had a baby last year so not so good right now but Neko really likes her. The other one also knows Neko and works at the vet clinic. But I haven't left Neko since she's been on insulin. She had been on road trips with us and we all survived, I wouldn't use the word "enjoy". :lol:

Neko is doing great. She is only 12 points away from green. With meter variance, it could be a green preshot.

These kitties will tell you when its dinner time. Too funny, well not for you.

How far is the regatta?

@Mariko - Me too on the acupuncture. There don't seem to be very many in the Vancouver area who do acupuncture.

@Catherine - Yes, 111 is still normal numbers so I'm happy for that. Regatta is about 5 hours drive and across the border. I might have to get Neko a rabies shot if I took her with us.
