I will be getting some +#'s today. See how we do.

Power washed my house today will get better am numbers tomorrow.

Uh, ya, we don't have the right dose. @ 607pm

Re: 6/17 Mickey amps 277

I'm thinking he needs another increase. See how his numbers go today but he is kinda stuck in the 200s and really has been since 2U. He needs a break through dose. Anyone else think she could increase to 3.5U this time? The way I read Tilly is that if you are using a larger dose, the increase amount should be larger. I know that's not what we prescribe to here usually, but dang, his BGs just do not move.

Pamela, any thoughts? I'm asking you because Tigger needed that boost before you saw results.

Re: 6/17 Mickey amps 277

Well, we have been saying a percentage of dose for the changes - so on a higher dose that would be a bigger amount, right? If we say use a .1u change on a .5u dose than a .5u change on a 3u dose would be in line with that. We just seem to deal with more below 1u doses around here is all.

So, yeah, going to 3.5u seems safe to me.

I know it is hard to get spot checks with your schedule Peggy, but I would feel better about raising the dose if you had more of an idea where she is headed in each cycle. See how today goes.

Sorry Mickey, I called you a 'she'!

I would go up an additional .25 units if it were Tigger only because of the lack of spot checks. Today looks like a nice even day and a slight increase would be good. :)

In the overall picture Sheila and Vicky know about the split dosing and time schedules that you are having to deal with which I don't.

I would just like to see him out of the 200s for most of the day and at the rate he is settling on each dose, I don't think a .25u increase will do it. I know, you never thought you'd see me post that, but in this case I think we have been cautious and have a lot of data to tell us how he is likely to respond and that there is a margin of safety in the high numbers. I would be shocked of a 3.5u dose made him drop below 100.
