Max is actually Ferdinand Maximilian Joseph, named after the last Emperor of Mexico, (See
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maximilian_I_of_Mexico ) despite the fact that Max was born not to a show cat or anything of the sort, but on a ranch, to a plain, but sweet tabby mama cat near the Mexican border.
We usually call him Maxito. He does, however, put on airs. He wears a tuxedo all of the time, white gloves, (and white shoes, but we can't expect him to be classy can we?), and he never buttons his morning coat -- you can see his white shirt, with ruffles, most of the time. He also sports a white beard and a black mustache. He has yellow eyes and a pink tongue. Given this description we have never figured out why the little girls on the ranch had named him Snowball.

How old is your Max? He's all black? Long hair, short hair? Eyes?
