Another bouncy morning yesterday for Mannie, but not as big as the day before. :-D He recovered well, and not too fast. The PM cycle was a slow easy descend too. All in all - a good day for Mannie. I like these slow slidages into the blues. Well done Mannie. Now all you have to do is ditch the bounces and you're set. :cool: :razz: :-D Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon We are a low sunny yellow this morning - not a bad start!

And I will never ever vacuum the nanners again... He has not left them, all day yesterday.... :cool: :lol: :lol: They have been hugged to pieces and slept on several times. Breaks occurred when fuds were going down - he loves to eat as much as he loves his nanners. All is well in MannieLand this morning.We had a furry purry kitty for poke test feed shoot. And , as always, the auto feeder was ignored. well, sorta ignored... it rotated its tray, food was there, he heard it, and promptly went and sat in his regular feed spot. sheshhhh Mannie.... would it be so hard to use the feeder? :shock: :o :roll: :roll: :roll: Guess so... the bean had to escort him - again. Now who has who trained. :lol: :lol: :lol: We hope for sunny day today - Mannie is already waiting by the slider --- after he made sure that nanners were ok. :roll: :lol: :lol:

WOOT - Kitties!! My friends! Checks is now officially OTJ - what party we gave him. But boy am I ever tired.... we need a pool where we can just chillax and do nuthin'! Anybody got one? ~~ Mannie

Mannie is sitting there in his regular food spot, auto feeder ignored, thinking

"good that i have finally gotten that thick-headed bean trained on how to feed me!"

hahahaha, glad to hear that all is well in mannieland and that the nanners have recovered from their icky vacuum smell!

Mannie is looking good already today. Tess has been finding the food left out in hers at night, but doesn't go to it at regular feeding times. :YMSIGH: have you tried putting the feeder right next to his regular feeding spot? OK you are reinstilling my resolve to use the feeder. WE need to be more consistent with our efforts, right? :lol: :lol:

Have fun w/ DGS today. Wow! it's looking like the sun might actually break through today!

Mannie, no pool or sun here yet. No sun at all yesterday! Chillaxin' (napping) sounds good today! -- Tess

Hi Melissa - thanks! So far it's great - such a good baby, rarely fusses. it's fun - he is so curious about everything - what a great age. I can hardly wait until he is on the move: then Mannie will really have to buckle down and guard those nanners.... :-D :-D

Morning Julie - oh yes!! He has trained me well. :roll: :roll: And he knows it. I get "that look" when I try to deviate from what he believes to be law, Mannie's law. :lol: :cool: and yep: full recovery for the Nanners. :cool: :razz:

Hi Ann - darn auto feeders! I know Mannie would do the same thing - find it after the fact IF the civvie Elsa didn't beat him too it. She knows there is food in there, and does not hesitate to help herself. Mannie?: you snooze, you loose! and yeah - tried it in the same spot. It made no difference.... shesshhhhh! And yes - WE do need to be more consistent... and keep on truckin'... and reaffirm our resolve that WE shall win the war. Right! :lol: :lol: THx - hoping for sun - looks like it will stay out today. YAY! Off to take DGS out for a walk or hike or whatever :cool: presents itself. once he eats that is.... again. darn kid loves his fuds. :lol: :lol: :cool:

I like the slow slide into blue....very nice!!! How funny on the auto feeder......that just cracks me up! :lol: :lol: I hate to say it Michelle, he really has YOU trained.....but then again...aren't we all well trained by our furbabies to do what they want?!! :roll: ;-) ;-) :-D I wouldn't have it any other way.

Mannie.....sunny here and pool is sparkly clear.....all kitties are welcome to come over anytime you want. That was quite the party for Checks last night....whew, I iz tired. ~Zoe

What a beautiful stroll down to the blue floor!!! And I know how it is to be trained by your cat!! And it doesn't even bother me cuz Champ is such a little love nugget and he's worth it!! Have a good day today with the DGS!!! :-D

Hi Michelle & Mannie,
So happy to hear that the nanners are deemed OK again. That must have been so upsetting!!! And the Automat battles go on. Maybe he would eat from one of the smaller models with the pop-up lids. Rusty uses the CatMate C-20 as a "table" for all his meals. I just put his dish into one of the two compartments and leave the whole thing open. When we need to use it as a feeder we close the lids and set the timers. As long as he's awake, he'll eat the food while we're away. And once the lids open, they don't close again, so the food is available any time after the timers open the lids. This feeder also has it's own cold pack that fits underneath the food trays. I read once that many cats don't like to eat from plastic trays, so I always put Rusty's ceramic dishes in the trays (you have to find dishes that will fit when the lids are closed).

Hey Mannie, Wasn't that a grand OTJ party for Checkers?! The food was outstanding. I had so much fun. But I'm tired today, too. See you at Zoe's for chillaxin.

Mannie says no more vacuuming his nanners, you hear me! Nice cycle today into the blues. I never did get an auto feeder. I think it might keep the food fresher than the way I free feed Maggie.

Hey Mannie, let's go to Zoe's and just veg out at her pool. I'm still stuffed from the party. Wasn't it great, Maggie

Attie took to the autofeeder pretty quickly and then decided he would start skipping meals.... ohmygod_smile

So there are times now I'll get home and open the feeder to find he hasn't touched a thing! and then he sits and complains cause the rabbits is warm...sheesh...

Ahhhh, the automat. I never did get Checkers to use it. I tried inticing him with tuna in it, but he just kept batting at it, trying to open it early. I finally gave it to Susan. Hers love it. Go figger. :smile:

Checkers must have partied hard last night, as he slept a lot today. Now he's racing around the house like a mad fool. Hope he doesn't think there's another party to go to. He enjoyed seeing all his buddies and lady friends. He also told me about his special angel friends, who attended his party. He especially thought Tessie Lou was sweet and pretty. :smile: And Mannie's menu was fabulous. Of course Stu came to man the grill. It was a good time, for all.

I've got 2 auto feeders....the 5 tray version that turns and the 2 tray that just opens.....Its hit or miss with either one.

Curry and Sid still enjoy their nanners....Although not as much as Mannie.

So Mannie...no bouncing dude.....just chillin, k?

YAY! Surprise visit from my DD and DSIL - they are making deep dish pizza for me and DH and the lot of us. AWESOME! per DGS is stuck with the liquid version... so - I know I won't get to condos tonight.... bummer! I miss you guys!

Hi Sherry - me too, on the slow slide. It was nice to see. oh yes - I ma well trained - why use a feeder when the bean immediately steps forward and feeds and serves and pampers.... the boy is no dummy! Ah what the heck - I really don't mind too much.... but that feeder! darn it!! :lol: :lol:

Hi Patty - I love love nuggets. Mannie needs to learn how to be one of those... :lol: :lol: ah heck - I'll take him anyways, love nugget or not. He's purry and furry, but not too much of a cuddler.

Mannie doesn't seem to care what type of dish he has - figures huh. I to have rad that most cats don't like the plastic. and yes - nice walk with Nicholas: some on the trails, some through the neighborhood.

Hi Ann - :lol: :lol: on the nanners - i swaer - never again! Could be on the auto feeder - at least the compartment are closed til they open. The one Ella mentions has an ice compartment to keep the food cold too.

Hi Barb - i know - that darn feeder... I should just give up - it really is an exercise in futility. If he was the only cat in the household it may work. the darn civvies get to it before he decides it's ok - if he decides, more often that not it" "serve me".... yup - some party from what I hear alot of tired kitties in LL. Mannie said he thought checkers had a sup time, and he is so glad that he is off the juice... he too commented on the special angel kitties that came to visit. They all did look great - didn't they. :-D

So sorry it has taken me all day to do condos. I've been a zombie. Mannie is looking very great tonight!!! He's so consistent now about coming back down into blues and also greens. Maybe it's his concession to you since you won't vacuum his nanners any more. And Mannie...how long have we been working on the auto feeder??

Hi Marje - no problem... I know how it is. Fatigue sometimes is my middle name, I do know how you feel. Quite the night you had yesterday, day too, and then you did all that work. Funny how that is sometimes - you're exhausted but also feel like you can tackle all these projects. and yes on his consistency - I am grateful to see it, as it wasn't always that way. :lol: :lol: :lol: maybe so with the nanners huh. and the auto feeder???? probably about a year and a half. sheshhhhh..... i shall win the war. maybe.
