Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS just cuz I love ~O) ), Happy Monday everyone!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug have taken the day off. They are so tired from all the pizzas they made yesterday for daddybean day... There were lots! Me, I am hard at work making good brew for today. CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY! so. well. anyways. onwards! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls....... YUM!!! and no worries! an Ice cream dollop included: cherry and vanilla and chocolate ice cream swirl on a fudge base. YUMMMMMMMM

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Happy Father's Day once again to all you dads out there. We had a great day here! My sons were over and played chef for a fantastic breffis of Eggs Benedict once again, YUM! It was great to have Erin, Jason, Nicholas and William over too. William is doing great - it seems like he has been here forever, but it's only been 10 days. ;-) Nicholas and I spent alot of time out in the yard yesterday, just checking things out. He so loves the outdoors that if the opportunity is there, out we go. It was a fun day. Picassa link: Father's Day

The morning was spent at the shore. I went early, as it was when I had the time, and also because I knew it would be busy down there, what with Fathers Day and all, plus we had semi-decent weather! It was great - warm temps, no breeze, and the woods and beach at the first light of day. Exceptional. By the time I left at 8AM already they masses were moving in.... What great pics! Yummy on the eggs benedict. Your guys are great to come over and do that for you. It is hard to believe it has been 10 days since William got here. Have a wonderful hike today Michelle!
 
Morning Michelle, ~O) ~O) what great family pics. Little William and Nicholas so cute and love all the pics, and the ones of Erin with the boys. I get so hungry for Eggs Benedict every time I see pics of them. How nice of your son to make them. Sounds like he really enjoys it! Beautiful pics of your shore walk, too.
Elsa Lil Bit, looking forward to your delivery. Lola and Bug, you kitties deserve a day off from making pizzas.

The Fathers' day breakfast looked like a wonderful celebration. Wow on the Eggs Benedict! William and his mom look wonderful, and Nicholas looks so happy.

Nice that you could get down to the shore before the crowds arrived. Those are lovely pictures of the wildflowers. What's on the agenda today? a hike? a stroll? chores?? ohmygod_smile

Elsa, that espresso was much needed this morning. Thank you, Kitteh Barista! Tell Bug and Lola that they can't rest all day because there's an OTJ party tonight and Chef Rusty has put pizza on the appetizers menu.

Hi Michelle. What a happy family you seem to have. Everybody actually smiles. How about giving the camera to someone else next time and show us your happy face too. :-D Was that too forward of me? :oops:
I never saw a child as happy as Nicholas...doesn't say much for my family, does it? :lol: :lol: :lol:
Now I want poached eggs for supper. :-D

I'm glad everyone had a good time at the Father's Day breakfast yesterday. They sure look like it from the pictures. Even the kitties look content.
 
Hi Everyone! I survived my adventure today, just got home. wow, and what a day today. I did do three short hikes, and explored some on the mtn loop hwy as I made my way through it all. What a drive. Even if I hadn't done the hikes, the drive alone would have been worth the time.The Sauk River and the Stillaguamish River were GORGEOUS!!!! I started in Darrington and ended up in Granite Falls, drove the whole damn thing, up through Barlow Pass etc, a total of 60 miles of gorgeousness. I loved it. made my day so to speak. Hikes ere good too, all short ones but nice to be able to spread them out some. All totaled: 14.5 miles on the legs today, climbed maybe 1000 feet total. Robe canyon was incredible. The Stillaguaish shoots through there, hike follows an old RR track. Not much left of the RR and rock slides have taken their toll. It would be so nice is somewhere along the line someone found the $$ to fix the trail so one can get pass the huge slides that have wiped out that trail. I can only wonder what splendors lie beyond.... tunnels I hear. River was so fast there today. I also visited the Big Four ice Caves at the base of the mountains there. No ice caves yet, as the snows have just started to melt. Mountains were awesome. I will post the Picassa links in tomorrow's Loose Lips. I can't wait for you guys to see these places!

Hi Ann - THX on the pics - they came out well. We had such a great day, just spending time together. I too love the one of Erin with the boys. :-D I agree: both boys make them, and very well too! You had best go out now and get some! :-D Thx on the hike: major mega FUN!

Hi Josie - Yes on the hollandaise and Mannie. He did like that stuff. We always had to remember to put dishes away, ie dishwasher, cuz if left out he'd find them ad we had a nom nom nom marathon. :lol: THX on yesterday, and the hike: both were great! :-D

Hi Ella - THX - it really was very good. My boys do an excellent job with it all- they can come and cook anytime! THX on William, Erin and Nicholas. And yes - He i so happy! With life, with everything. He has his moments, but overall: one very happy kid. THX on the wildflower pics. Today I went and hiked the Mountain loop Hwy area: stillaguamish river, big 4 ice caves and robe Canyon. All short ones, but so so pretty!

Hi Barb - LOL on the smiles - that they do! we do have our moments, but not yesterday! :lol: A photo of me? oh no....... I hate having my photo taken. BLECH! Well maybe next time I will. A big yes on Nicholas - he too has "those moments' nut overall he truly is one happy child. It is so nice to see. and I bet yours are too! OH: the cat standing on the window is Bug. I really liked that photo too. THX on today - it was GREAT!

Hi Carla - THX, me too! It was a great get together, Yes too on the kitties! Lola bad Bug, well manly Lola has turned out to be quite the social one.
 
Can't wait to see your photos of your spectacular hikes today, Michelle. It will be a treat to see them when we get home from the picnic at our friend's camp on the St. Lawrence River. This is an all-day event and sunshine is promised!!

Rusty is supervising the pizza preparations at the OTJ party for Timber. Good that Elsa came along with Bug and Lola to help out. Those kitties of yours will be tired tomorrow!

Elsa - are you allowed out at night? I'll ask Maui to swing by and pick you up in the furrari! Remember hold on tight, cause Maui drives really fast!

Hi Ella - I hope you like the photos from today. there are far too many, but I just could not help myself! :lol: :lol: I hope you will enjoy the picnic, it sounds like it will be fun! LOL on the pizza prep - good idea that Rusty is supervising! sometimes Lola and Bug need just that! Elsa will help Rusty too! perhaps tired kittens will ea god thing here tomorrow. no trouble then. :lol: :lol:
