Palindrome Day

After taking yesterday morning off, Harvey is doing back to back shifts in the lagoon. A deputy's work is never done!

Second verse, same as the first - ate a little of t/f/s meal, didn't want breakfast. Gave him his tummy meds. It took him a while to work up to it, but now he's just a step below Hoover. Works for me.

We've had several days of cool and windy weather , and today is overcast and windy, but slightly warmer. The bad news is the warm up starts tomorrow and will culminate in 97-100 degree days next week. Our only visit in these parts from NASCAR is next weekend, and of course, the temps are supposed to be in the 90s. Forecasts have been known to change, so our paws are crossed that those temps get lower as we get closer to the weekend. Three days outside in that kind of weather is not my idea of a good time!!

Thanks for visiting us, everyone. Harvey made it back to the lagoon tonight, but he left the hoover on shore. He did eat all his dinner, and a little bit of the second helping I gave him, but then he stalled out. I'm debating about giving him tummy meds. I might just give the Ondansetron tonight and skip the Cypro. Or I could try Cerenia... Hmmm, decisions, decisions. I have five minutes to decide.

Jayla, do you have a pill popper? I swear I couldn't live without them. With these stupid fingers I could never get the pill in the cat's mouth far enough.
