Yesterday's Condo

I think Gabby's pancreas got tired.

I had mentioned that I had guests for dinner last night. I'm always amazed at how people who have not had a cat in their life are amazed at well socialized felines. One of my guests was down on the floor being entertained by Gizmo. He grew up with a cat. The other person, was amazed that Gizmo was grabbing her foot but not with his claws. In fact, she thought he was declawed. They have dogs, which they describe as being cat-like (and they are) but they were still charmed at how sweet and playful and gentle Gizmo is. (Fortunately, he did not jump up on the table while we were eating! Occasionally, he has manners or impulse control.) Gabby actually hung out in the living room for a bit and then wanted peace and quiet.

I have a little one that needs some of that IMPULSE CONTROL.

Knowing Gabby she'll get back to some good numbers in no time.

Have a great day.

When Vyktor jumps on the table when guests are here I always remind him: you know you're not supposed to do that - when anyone's here. Guess it's a bad habit not to shoo him off the table when I'm eating alone

Little pancreas rest and then back to business Gabby.

Back to bidness, Gabby. I wondered if Gabby and Gizmo were leery of guests or not. Sounds like Gizmo was on his best behavior and wanted to impress the guests. He is quite the charmer. Our kitties hide under the bed for a good hour or so when people come over and they growl at the UPS truck. Enjoy your Sunday!

Hi Sienne. I wanted to comment on this post this morning, but couldn't think of how to word what I was feeling. Still can't.
My heart just wants to smile, at the sweetness and good manners of Gabby and Gizmo. :-D

Barb --

They are, in general, exceptional kitties. Gabby is not as social as Gizmo whereas he's a complete ham who loves being the center of attention. Of course, you don't get to hear Gabby when she's annoyed with him. She can be rather hissy.
