I hope everyone is enjoying their Thursday, one day closer to the weekend. :mrgreen: We opened a new Lantus pen last night and it looks like its working much better than the old one. I did go back to 3.25 units because I didn't know if those high numbers were due to the insulin. I think we'll stay here for a few days and then see if we need to raise it to 3.5.

WCR: Blackie is feeling fine. He's been his normal sweet self, eating well and hanging out outside. He never seemed to notice the high numbers.

Yippee for new pens! It sure looks like this one is doing the trick. His AMPS was nearly half of what it was the other day. Fingers crossed that it just keeps getting better, just like Christina Aguilera promises. ;-)

Isn't it funny how they can act the same no matter what their numbers are? I'm glad he didn't seem to be affected by the higher ones, though. I bet he is happy to be back on track, even if it's only because you are happier. Have a happy Fursday!

Are you going to the party tonight? I am, and I'm going to help Stu with the prep. I'm not a good cook so I think maybe I will just set the tables or decorate or something. We can ride together again if you want to; I'm not even sure where Jezebel lives. I hope you'll be wearing green tonight. I'll probably be in yellow. See you later!

I completely forgot about that, Helene. I hope he makes me stay home Friday night with lots of greens. :mrgreen:

Blackie is on his way to Jezebel's party. He's wearing his pink outfit, but I made him take a yellow one to change into.

I'm following Libby's advice a day late, but I went back to the 3.5 we had started. Maybe it wasn't the insulin. I'm still hopeful (always hopeful) that his numbers will come back down soon.
