Mamabean's return yesterday

All good here today. Zener is working on his slide and appy is good. He's napping out in his cabana. It's very, very windy these past few days but it doesn't seem to bother him.

I am soooo glad to be home! Tillie saw me and ran under the bed: "WHO ARE YOU?!?!?!" She remembered this morning and is now asking for petting about every 30 minutes. Zener asked for lots of petting last night and this morning. I missed my family. I had a good visit with my sister and her family (2 of 3 kids and 6 of 9 grandkids) and another sister. We went biking a couple of times and walked and did the Superman Race in Metropolis, IL. I even got second in my age division! (it was a slow year) My sister won hers. Anne did a super job of taking care of everything, including watering my garden (it all looks good).

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. When is Trixie's OTJ party? :mrgreen: Happy Monday, LL!

Welcome home Liz - good to see the morning bean back on duty. Anne did a superb job while you were gone but I can so relate with her not being a morning person.

Love the Zener welcome and Tillie's once she remembered who you are. :lol: Hope you are getting lots of kitty make up snuggles today. Keep on sliding Z-man, mommaLizBean's favorite color is blue.

Welcome home Liz. I'm glad the kitties are giving you lots of loving, once Tillie remember who you were. :lol: I hope Zener keeps sliding down today.

We are going to fatten by one drop tonight and see if we can find the blue floor.

OT: It seems there is another fire in Oak Creek Canyon, very near the start of the one three weeks ago. This one is due to a downed power line. Yikes. Winds gusted to 59 mph today at the airport. Double yikes. Anne leaves for Germany in the morning. More yikes.

Boy howdy is the night duty bean glad MamaLizBean is home! Zener has been spending most of the evening in her lap, he missed her a lot. The Queen of Everything has decided Liz really does live here. :lol:

Tomorrow is Zener's third acupuncture treatment. He did very well at the last one and seemed to get some relief, that plus gabapentin.

Weather report is calling for more red flag weather tomorrow (high winds, low humidity), so who knows if my flight will be on time, delayed or fly at all. I am supposed to leave at 10:30, all the midday and afternoon flights were cancelled today. I contacted USAir about canceling the first flight from Flagstaff, and driving or taking a shuttle to Phoenix in the morning. Because it is an international flight, any changes to the ticket would cost $750! Of course, if the flight is delayed or cancelled, they will accommodate me on the first available flights on their airline. Uh huh. So, we'll be rolling the weather dice on this trip.

Welcome home, Liz. Gee, you two barely get to see each other, and off goes Anne! Is this the trip that you postponed due to the last fire? Maybe Mother Nature is trying to tell you something???

I don't think Tillie forgot who you were. I think she was just letting you know she didn't like your being gone. Of course, she couldn't hold a grudge for long and miss all those scritches!! :lol:
