Good Morning, Everyone,
Our hearts go out to Sandy and her family. I hope that she will be comforted by the kitties' reports that at the Full Moon celebration the veil parted and all were able to see Tessie Lou and know that she is safely at the Bridge and surrounded by our caring GAs.
The moon was brilliant here last night. I watched it for quite some time, but the eclipse must have been quite late since I didn't see it. Today is a beautiful Adirondack summer day. We are to have sunshine all day and no rain until tomorrow afternoon (when we will be out on a canoe trip!!).
Rusty woke me up with purrs and headbutts this morning. He seems to be coming back down to his normal range. I opened a new box of test strips for the FreeStyle Lite last night at the bedtime test and it took forever for the blood drop to be sipped up into the meter and then ages for the number to register. Same thing happened this morning, so both of these tests may not be entirely accurate. I then tried the meter and strips on myself three times and twice it took so long that the meter timed out. So I called Abbot and they are sending another box of strips. Fortunately I have plenty of boxes and the strip from a different new box that I opened and tested on myself works normally. Rusty will get his first test with this box of strips at +5.
Be back later to visit some condos. I have to water the houseplants and then want to get out on my bike for an hour.

Hey Kitties: that was a wonderful party last night. The desert was beautiful in the light of the Red Moon. Thanks, Gracie, for having the party at your place. The best part of the evening was when the veil parted. We could see Tessie Lou and she sent us loving greetings and told us that she is healed and that all our GAs at the Bridge are welcoming her. She told us to convey her everlasting love to her Family. Sandy, DH, I will miss my friend Tessie Lou, too, but I am thankful that she landed softly at the Bridge and that she will be fine, waiting until you meet again.
