Good morning, LL!
Ripley is doing great today: most Ps are in place, almost joining the CPC...
I've noticed her wanting to drinking tub water ~ twice yesterday, once this morning. I can't tell if she's truly thirsty, or just visiting an old pattern. She used to jump into the tub whenever I'd get ready in the morning and get ready for bed at night, and squawk until I turned on a little stream of water for her to slurp from. She stopped doing this when I began her sub-q treatment. But every now and then, she jumps in the tub and squawks. I usually am thrilled to see her show signs of "pre-diagnosis Ripley" but I just hope she isn't feeling dehydrated or having worse kidney issues... there are no other symptoms of dehydration, so that's good.
This morning she only drank a few sips... keeping an eye on this one. Once a worried bean, always a worried bean... :roll: ;-)

She snuggled with me all of last night. Such a sweet girl. cat_pet_icon

Hi Josie. Looks like Ripley has a day at the Lagoon planned. I hope her wanting to drink from the tub is just a flash back to an old habit. PF use to drink from sink faucets per-dx and occasionally meows at one now but only takes one lick. I'm sure it's just an old memory resurfacing now and again for him and Miss Ripley.

Hmmmm on the tub water, maybe just an old pattern re-emerging. Mine often do that - restart something they haven't done in months. Well something to watch for sure. ;-)

Hi, John, Michelle, Linda, Mariko, and Carla! :-D Thanks for the visits ~ and also the reassurance that Ripley's tub visits are probably nothing. She is acting perfectly normal and happy, and that's all that matters now. I have a feeling that some old habits are hard for cats to break.

I wasn't home much today, but Ripley seems to be having a great day. Our temps are cooler than avg. for this time of year, and they'll be even cooler tomorrow ~ I bet there is some basking time in Rippo's future... :cool:

......I giggled at Ripley walking around clicking cement toes on your floors. I just noticed recently, that Checkers was doing that. I thought his nails needed cutting...which would have been easier to do, than get hardened litter out of the toes. :roll:

What a lovely day for Ripley. :mrgreen: I've been telling myself that mine needed his tub drinks, 'cause he's a thirsty diabetic, but he has several water dishes, as I'm sure Ripley does, so even if she's thirsty, she can go to a bowl, right? :smile:
I think Ripley's trying to train mama again, to turn on faucet. :lol:
