Polly seemed a little "off" yesterday. Excellent appetite. Good pee and poo. Not dehydrated. Just seemed a little sluggish. Slow moving, uncomfortable. Kinda like I feel if I eat a monster meal and later regret it.

This morning she's hanging out with the napping critters in the living room; seems better.

sorry to hear the little girl is feeling yucky. do you think it might be pancreatitis? have you seen her like this before? i think you've read Marje's link on pancreatitis - if you want it again, it's at the bottom of the "New to the Group?" sticky in the single-topic posts.

Hope Polly is feeling better, poor girl! Could she be bouncing from the 197 the other day? Sometimes that up and down BG might make her feel woozy?

Thanks, Julie. I thought about pancreatitis when she was acting so puny yesterday. But other than the lethargy and perhaps discomfort nothing else matched. And her tiredness could be the Saturday/Sunday effect. I'm home all day so the critters don't get their usual 20 hours of sleep. You know, gotta see what the bean is up to. Could be food!

Polly's appetite is almost insatiable. But I try to keep her to multiple small meals daily. Yesterday, though she gobbled up over 4 ounces in one feeding. My fault. She's holding her weight. Ten pounds.

Yes, Ruth, I suppose Polly could be a little discombobulated by the jumps and dumps in glucose. And it's gotten hot here. She loves being out in the enclosure. That, too, could be slowing her down a bit. But I'm keeping an eye on her...without hovering! Thanks for your thoughts.
