Someone is getting sassy about being tested.

I know she doesnt LIKE it, she merely TOLERATES it, and she wasnt shy about letting me know last night. Poor baby. She still curled up to sleep with me last night, so she still likes me at least :blackeye:

I can't wait until a correct dose for her is found, so I dont have to poke as much. I wish the Levemir affected her more typically with a later (and more reliable?) onset/nadir

Thank you for the well wishes but "it ain't going to happen". At least not in this am cycle. Yes, count your blessings. I would love to be in your position. Maybe someday.

Still being pretty avoidant when she knows I want to test her, but affectionate otherwise.

I wish there was literally any other place to poke her, other than the ears and toes. Maybe I should try free handing using the lancet, instead of the lancing device.

Do you give Olivia a yummy snack after testing? Maybe a chunk of some mutton? :p

I give her freeze dried chicken! At PMPS I even held her food bowl in my lap, WITH FOOD, which she had been bugging me for for an hour, and she was still hesitant.

A week ago she was trotting up to me willingly when she heard me getting her supplies, and now this. Maybe shes just being sassy since she feels better? Idk.

Just took her +2, and I free handed the lancet, thinking she doesnt like the 'click' the lancing device makes. She flinched a little, but maybe I just need to work on it.

114@+2 tells me nadir might be budging a bit and it might be a long night.

I remember when I first started testing every day was like :arghh::banghead::blackeye::(:mad::confused::facepalm::eek::nailbiting:o_O:stop:. I sang "You are My Sunshine" more times than I can count. I even got Alexa to play it on repeat (the Johnny Cash version) because Ruby would relax when it was on. Seriously. You should give it a try. :p

Lol, I've sung that to her, too!

That reminds me, I've heard of 'cat music' specifically designed to be pleasing to them - worth a shot, I guess!
