Thanks Laura. I agree. He seems to bounce high from the low 40's and 30's. I bet he's hit pink numbers others time but I missed them and he very well could have gone lower than I caught as well. Of course his schedule will be disrupted today as it is cleaning day and Marta won't leave his bedroom until +3-3.5. He will be under the bed. He's been there more than usual lately. I need to make a vet appointment sooner than later as I try to get him in every 4 months and he had labs last the end of January. He had his dental in February and saw the vet two weeks later but just to look at his mouth. Vet trips often lead to pancreatitis so I'm dreading it like always. :nailbiting:
 
Hate those fur shots! I`ve thought I`ve given a fur shot a few times, but the numbers reflected that they made their mark! Could be my inexperience, though, I`m sure you get a feel for those things.
No pinks today, Mr. Max!
 
Yikes!:arghh: hope all or some got in. He likes to fool you on those "fur shots"..when you think you did, but then he drops on ya and you realize you didnt;)

So true that I hesitated to even write it. He was starving. Didn't even hide when he saw Marta. He sat at his feeding area and stared at us. I fed him a little, a little more and then finally he had enough.
 
Lots of hopes from here that whatever juice Max got this morning, he zips back to the green zone for a nice long safe surf soon.

Thanks Laura and Marilyn. I guess I'll find out more tonight. Since he's coming off a bounce if he got it all I would have expected a lower nadir since he would have a large depot. Time will tell except with yo yo here it's hard to know. As long as he doesn't go high I really don't care. Have a great day.
 
I suspect he got some as well. He is more alert tonight. He actually was laying where I feed him to say he was hungry a good 45 minutes before he could eat. Lately I have to wake him up at PMPS. He then didn't eat right away but came in to where I was measuring his insulin. It's been awhile since he's done that too. I have no idea what he will do tonight.
 
Well, if he got a furshot this morning, it's hard to tell, he had a nice slide down anyway. Glad his appy is good tonight! I can see why you would avoid vet visits if it triggers a panc attack! :nailbiting::nailbiting: ...just read yesterday's condo, I sure hope the kitten found her home! :bighug::bighug:
 
The kitty has not been seen since she left and hopefully she went home.

Max is still a mystery to me. :cat: The good news is he seems happy.
