6/16 Kasha AMPS 304 PMPS 356

Kasha ate 2 Tbsp breakfast (FF) with chicken dust. She wandered away from it until I added the chicken dust and then ate it up. I think it's a ploy for chicken dust.

Blue ate his breakfast and is dozing. After getting his pathology report yesterday, I am looking at him with a critical eye. Looking for signs that something is wrong... Sigh... Also keeping an eye on the incision - it looks different every day and the changes scare me a little sometimes (mostly just redness - the kind of thing you take for granted when you have a scratch that's healing but on a big incision it's scarier somehow) - making sure things seem to be moving in the right direction.

I'm tired - going to give that btb thing another try for maybe 1/2 hour or so...

Kasha really likes that chicken dust, hu! . Maggie loves the salmon dust. I hope Blue continues to do good and the incision heals. I think I may try that btd, too!

Well, considering it's pretty much the middle of the night where you are, I think you can justify going btb!!!

Tray snubs his food lately until I put tuna juice on it, these kitties are no fools!
Hope Kasha comes out of the pinks for you and Blue sounds like he's doing just fine, try not to worry too much about it.

Just barely pink this morning! I hope kasha comes down for you today ... I know you are just a worried momma bean right now over your furbabies .. I'm sure everything is healing up like it should ...

Thanks everyone. The support I get here is really helping keep me going.

Kasha was 265 or something when I left this morning (but I can't update the spreadsheet at work anymore ). She was headed down nicely. After the days we've had, I'm not going to complain about a little pale pink on her AMPS!!!

I'll be worried about Blue until I know that he's healed up. We have a 3 week checkup scheduled on the 28th - then hopefully he'll be able to get outta the cage and out of that horrible e collar...

Oops- lunchtime! Think I'll check in on the kitties at Max's OTJ party!!!

Ok - I'm in a hurry - heading out. Forgot to give her Baytril until after I fed her - big mistake. Had to force it down, big fight... Oh well...

She ate nearly 3 Tbsp FF for dinner. Then ran up her ramp and leaped onto her box to look out the window. So, that's where I shot and she seems fairly content.

I'll check back in a few hours.

Back. Hmmm... 299 @ +3. I'm hoping this is a bounce - I wish I knew what went on when I was at work today... She was on her way down when I left for work, but no idea where things went in between. She did pretty much polish off all of the food I left out for the day, which makes me think she may have gone lower - cuz that's when she seems to get hungry. But I could be wrong. Won't know till I can monitor her...

Blue and I are hanging out on the papasan cushion... he's a little off today. I can't explain exactly how he's off, he just is. He ate and peed and pooped, so maybe he hurts a little or maybe he is just sick of the cage.

Seems like Kasha is keeping the freeze dried chicken folks in business. Come back down outta the pinks lady!

I hope Blue continues to improve. It's hard to not be anxious and overprotective. You're both doing great!
