I am so sorry to read this. Please let her know her FDMB family is with her at this horrible time. Sending prayers and healing hugs. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do.
 
Thanks for letting us know the news. Poor Diane, her daughter was everything to her. She will be missed by all of us, but we understand she needs to take some time away. Let her know we are thinking of her and will support her as she needs.

We will all miss you but our thoughts will be with you and your family.

Oh, Dear Diane, I am hurting for you as I read this news. I am so sorry to read this news about your beautiful, special Ashley. You tried so hard to be strong for her. It must have hurt you every single day that you couldn’t help her more or take her pain away. Please take care of yourself and your dad. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
 
Diane, I’m so very, very sorry. It’s hard to find words, but I know from your posts how much Ashley suffered and how dedicated and tenacious of a mom you’ve been in protecting and caring for her. My heart goes out to you. Your FDMB family is here whenever you want or need us. I’ll be thinking of you…
 
(((Diane))) I am so very sad to hear this news and know how heartbroken you must be. You have been such a devoted mother to your beautiful Ashley helping and supporting her with this terrible disease. You are constantly in my thoughts and I am sending you lots of love. We are all here for you whenever you need us.
 
I woke up this morning at 5 AM and just started crying again. I logged on to try to stop thinking about it for just a little bit. Not to go into the horrible details but my sweet Ashley left me the most beautiful letter . She just couldn't take the pain any longer, the lonliness and everything else she had to deal with because of this terrible disease, 19 dam years. I just don't know what I will do without her.
Even though she was always in pain, she still had the best sense of humor, always made me laugh, she was the most loving daughter. She will be cremated. My sister and brother are going to pay for the cremation bless them. My nephew , my sister's son started a go fund me and I am so thankful for that. My daughter was 37 .
Tyler woke me up at 3 AM wanting to eat and for a minute I thought Tyler shut up you're going to wake up Ashley.
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, you all are part of my family !
I hope all of your kitties are ok, maybe later tonight I'll check in on all of them just to distract me for awhile.
I think Tyler knows something isn't right because he's been laying in her bed.
Trying to keep busy throwing out crap I don't need, cleaning,
I just wanted to let you all know from the bottom of my heart thank you, it means the world to me.:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:♥♥♥♥

I'm so sorry for your loss. Please take your time. Have family help you with Ashley's things. None of this has to be done immediately. Grief has a funny way of sneaking up on us when least expected.

And please, know that this community is here for you.

Diane, I’m so sorry for the loss of your precious daughter. I cannot imagine your grief right now. I have seen you being such a helpful person here on the FDMB every single day, I’m sure you have been an even greater loving and caring mother to Ashley.

Sending lots of love, hugs and strength to you and your family in this difficult time. Please do take some time off to heal and take care of yourself too.

Without breaking Diane's confidence I can say Ashley lived in never ending pain, never went to the prom, never kissed a boy. This is honestly not about me but to a much lesser degree I have some oddball neuropathic condition that some people think I should "just get over". It doesn't work like that, pain is pain. I once almost threw a psychiatrist out a window when he finally confessed he had never broken a bone in his life.
Life can be short; hug your kids, hug your cats and dogs, phone your mom. Be thankful everyday that wasn't you.

Oh Diane, I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. Sounds like your daughter put up a brave fight and you did everything in your power to help her, I hope that's a small comfort in those awful times.
