Well, we got bookends, but not the kind I like to see!!

Not sure what's going on...I know the morning shot got in, but I do remember thinking that the lines looked "off" on the syringe, so I have to wonder if it was the right amount....Hopefully tonight's will be a little better so China can get back on duty at the lagoon!

Still no joy on the sink...Went looking for other ideas today at a local store and the only thing they had to offer was lye and sulphuric acid....and since I used the Liquid Plumber yesterday and that's still in the pipes, I'm not mixing lye with it!!...and the guy told me if I used this other product that was sulphuric acid, that I should expect some pretty noxious fumes and I'd want to be out of the house or block off the kitchen

When the heat index is over 105, I'm not going outside...and I wouldn't even dream of leaving the kitties in the house with something like that going on! Don't know of any way to "block off" the kitchen either.

Oh well....the saga continues!!

Miss China...you could really lift your old mama's spirits if you'd head down to the lagoon soon!! At least she'd have something to smile about!!

hmmmm
this is odd for the queen of double digits !
:bighug:
that lump doesn't hurt her ??
just making sure not a ingrown hair or something that may cause a higher bg....
maybe the heat?

I hate how off syringes can be. Hopefully China will head back to the lagoon tonight. I hope you can get your sink unclogged. How is Cleo's lump?

China!! OK honey...Mama is smiling now!! See me?? :D:D:D:D

Now slow it down a little sister!!!

ace hardware has a good one that doesn't hurt the pipes....

I'm not supposed to add any other "chemical" types of drain cleaners because the Liquid Plumber didn't work and it's still in the pipes/sink...I'm really not supposed to even attempt to continue trying to use the plunger because of the chance the LP might spray back onto me (but so far I've had my hands in it for very short periods and it didn't seem to hurt anything) I'm sure it'd be different if I got some in my eyes though

I got a different kind of doohicky today that I'll try next time I feel with fooling with it called a Drain Stick...I'd bought a small snake thingy, but the wires at the end that do all the "work" are too big to fit into the little holes in the drain. I'm not sure this will fit either, but for $5 I figured it was worth a try

Have you considered calling Roto Rooter? They will fix that sink very quickly. It sounds like it's past the point of you being able to deal with it.

Yo Deputy China, Nice to see you late in the lagoon. We'll keep those kitties safe. It's a good thing you got out of your house and away from that sink!

Yeah I'm afraid of that....problem is, plumbers cost money and I don't have much. When we had new cabinets installed many years ago, we had them come out to install the sink and I almost died when they presented us with a bill for almost $750

With Cleo needing to go to the vet I'm trying to save my pennies as it is....when you live on about $700/month, it doesn't stretch very far so I guess I keep hoping that my next $5 "fix" will be the one that works
