He barely ate last night, but he's eating right now. I bought some treats (some freeze dried turkey and shrimp that I'm crushing up onto his food, FF Appetizers, and even some HC treats) to entice him and so far, that's helping. I get out early today. If my mom sees that he's not eating, she'll call and I'm going to have to try to take him into the vet.

He's not pooping as much, so this could likely be constipation related. He use to take a prescription for that but I'd like to just try miralax. Miralax dosing?

I found that J.D. would refuse his food, if I just sprinking the Miralax into the bowl and mixed it into his food.
But, if I sprinkle the Miralax, and then add a little water and disolve the Miralax crystals in the water first, and then add the food and mix it all up, he will eat it. Someone told me that the Miralax is tasteless, but the crystals should be desolved. You always want to give extra water when giving Miralax anyway, as it draws water from the body to make the stools softer. If water doesn't work, try tuna water (read the can first and make sure there is no soy in it).

Thanks everyone! My mom said she's been able to get him to eat a little only by adding freeze dried shrimp or turkey crushed up onto the food. I'll ask her if he pooped at all when I get home. I know the two nights that he went so low, he didn't poop, but I was under the impression with my mom that he went during the day. I was in such a haze from lack of sleep and working that I didn't think about it.
