Sunny yellow again today. I upped his dose back to 3.75U this morning. We are having thunderstorms this morning. Just as I put the needle in and was pushing the plunger, a loud clap of thunder shook the house. Tarragon bolted midshot. My hands and his fur smelled like insulin so I know that only 1/2 of the shot at most made it in. Ugh. Furry this morning, but not so happy purry with the storms.

1/2 day at tbp then off to spend some time with DH. Hope you all have a great day!

Oh gees Melissa, don't you just hate when a shot is interruped? I hope he got more than you think, and stays in nice numbers. :smile:

Morning Melissa, sorry about the thunder during mid shot and poor Tarragon. Some of the insulin got in and Tarragon will get back on track. Their ears are so sensitive, so I can imagine how scared with the thunder. TGIF and casual day for you today. Does Turnup also get frightened? Hope your day at tbp goes well.

Ann - Turnup doesn't get scared. She gets annoyed by Tarragon and the fact that breffis was a little late. :lol: Yay for casual Friday!

Morning Melissa - bummer on the shot, well weather interruptions are uncontrollable. Well hopefully most made it in. Even if not, he'll recover soon. Right Mr T?

Nice on the casual day - YAY, and TGIF. I always liked those casual Fridays we had at work too. Have a great time this afternoon with DH. How nice to have just a half day at TBP.

Well, drat, on the bad timing of the thunder. :-x Hope he stays in good numbers. Nice to have a half day today. :-D Thank you for the vines. No fever last night and ibuprofen to take care of the aches this morning.

Hi guys .. aww I feel bad for tarragon .. it's not fun being scared of storms .. I hope they pass quickly and I hope he doesn't go to high, with only half his dose in today .. have a great weekend!

I hope Mr. T makes a fast recovery from the furshot. Tess agrees w/ him totally on the storms. The only good place to be is under the covers or even better, UNDER the BED!

Sorry about the half fur shot today. You never know -- Mr. T. may have had more insulin than you think. Tarragon, let's see some good numbers today regardless of those nasty storms. Simon doesn't seem to mind any storms. Poor Cleo on the other hand, is terrified.

Hi Melissa,

I hope the rest of your day is going better than it started. Poor Tarragon with that thunder just when he was getting a shot! Racci's scared of it too. Well, he'll come down again if he goes too high from missing some insulin but he may not have missed that much. We're so used to pressing that plunger that usually it's pressed immediately.

Friday is the best day to have a half day off from work. I hope you do something fun & that Tarragon does better on his new dose.

Wow, what timing. I hate the interrupted shots, never know what they get. Daphne is also scared to death of thunder.

Hope Tarragon recovers soon, and PMPS will be the full dose, so Mr.T will be back to normal numbers.

Stupid thunder. I hope Mr. T doesn't run too wild if much was missed. Hope the day cleared up quickly and you enjoyed your time out with the hubby.

Awe poor Tarragon. Hopefully the storms clear up so he can be relaxed to get his regular dose. He'll get back on track:)
 
Aw, bad timing with the shot this morning. It loos like T is making up for it tonight, though. I hope the thunder boomers stay away!!
