WCR: Most Ps in place. Appy is so-so. She doesn't seem like she feels well. She's not quite in the meatloaf position, but she's not exactly stretched out and comfy. She did stretch out when I put out my heating pad and got her to lay on it. I've noticed her lick her lips some lately. She's been a bit gassy lately and her burping has come back a little. Ok, she just stretched out on her blanket. She was pretty chatty this morning, but it wasn't her friendly chatter; more anxious and not feeling well.
We leave in 2 days for my parents' house...8 hour drive, but will be more like 9 as I have to pick up my father in Tallahassee. ugh!
OT: Washing machine problem - Landlady's husband came by this morning to look at my washing machine. He could definitely tell that there was water on the floor of my laundry room closet. He's having the septic tank people come out tomorrow to empty the tank. I'm very unfamiliar with this stuff, but he thinks that my house has 2 septic tanks. I asked him if he was going to have them empty both tanks (while they're here...makes sense to me) and he said that most likely, he will have them do both.
OT #2: For anyone that was kind of following my little story with Sugar (friend's grandmother adopted her in February from SPCA - surrendered to SPCA because previous owners "could not afford"), here is her progress:
Friday, May 29th - 1st reading: HI; 2nd reading: 598
Sunday, May 31st - 387
Wednesday, June 3rd - 208
Sunday, June 7th - 169
Sunday June 14th - just before fuds - 68!!!
1 hour after 1 full can of Fancy Feast Classic Chicken - 101!!
Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!
