Good Morning, Everyone,

A beautiful, sunny day today. Rusty had a good night, which included one of his "kneading sprees"--he kneads (usually on my leg) and is off in his kitty world, totally oblivious to everything, meowing loudly every so often. It is very primordial. Both Edward and I woke up and talked to him, but he was in his own world. He settled down into a deep sleep. I'm sure there is a name for this "other worldliness".
This morning he had a good test (yay for blue!), an ouchie shot, breakfast (most of it saved for later), lung treat (gobbled up), and now a nap in his little bed by the radiator (which was on briefly this morning: it was 40 degrees outside). He is sleeping so peacefully that I didn't want to wake him for our schmooze. I hope he has a good day and can stay in the lower numbers.

The beans are getting ready to go to the Farmers' Market to fill our crate with delicious produce from the CSA. I hope that all of the rain this week did not destroy their crops. I hope to get out on my bike this afternoon.

Yo Kitties, It's a beautiful day. Anyone wanna go fishin'? The streams are running fast because of all the rain and fishin' should be good. We can grill our catch, or make fish stew. See you later,

Rusty, a ncie blue start for you today - I like that blue. Keep them coming, with maybe a splash into the green lagoon?

Too fun on Rusty and his "other wordliness". It always amuses me when they do that. It makes one wonder: what are they dreaming about?

Enjoy the farmer's market. I hope all is well with their crops....

Have a good one today. Enjoy that bike ride too.

YAY Rusty!! Sorry about the ouchie shot. Why do they pick that one second to move? Keep those beautiful numbers coming, my boy!
I wonder about that place they go when they are "other worldliness" I wish we could learn to do the same thing.
Too fun getting beautiful veggies and fruits! I hope all the crops are ok and you get a gorgeous crateful. And for free!! :lol: :lol:

Oh Cool Rusty! Fishin sounds like a purfect Caturday. Maybe we'll catch enough to grill and make fish stew. Wouldn't that be mega cool? We could take some stew on KTSS for all our kitties that need it. I gots lots of shrimp and flies for bait. If we don't catch much, we can eat the bait :lol: :lol: . Gotta grab my fishin pole and hat... see you in sec. - oliver

Morning Ella, what a beautiful pic of Rusty in the wicker rocker striking a nice pose for the camera. My GA kitty used to do the kneading thing while grabbing onto a piece of my clothing with his teeth. He did that since a kitten thru age 16!
Sounds like a nice day at Farmers Market.

And look at that amps. Lovely!

Rusty ~ I like to eat bait ~ I mean, fish. I'll try not to eat the bait. I've got my fishing pole and hat and supplies ready! (I'll bring my favorite lures ~ they have feathers. I like things with feathers.) See you soon! ~Ripley

Hey! The LagoonMeister is on duty!!

Just got back from the local Humane Society fair and bake sale. Bought a jar of strawberry jam made by Rusty's vet.

About to go out on my bike. bbl,

Such a nice day for Rusty. Enjoy the lagoon. I wish I could go to that other world with Rusty. So, you didn't come home with another kitty for the Humane Society. I have to stay away from that place or I'd have a houseful of kitties.'

Looks like a lovely day for Rusty. He seems to stay nice and safe, when he's left alone.

Rusty looks so regal in 'his' chair. What a gorgeous boy, he is. :smile:

Ooh, Farmer's Market. I was in town and forgot about ours. Phooey! Susan said the local strawberries weren't so good.
Too much rain, I guess.

Good to see the LagoonMeister back on duty! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I'm guessing you're out on your road bike as the trails would be terribly muddy after all that rain.

Hi again,
Rusty's visit to the lagoon didn't last too long! Oh well, at least he had a green today :-D . My bike ride was fine--only about 12 miles and yes, on the roads (I am a road cyclist; I have an old mountain bike, but I don't ride it on trails unless it is unavoidable).

Edward and I are watching some 1930s screwball comedies on TV tonight, just vegging out. Rusty is asleep on the couch, hogging half of it!

Much better day...looks like he might come back down. I love his picture! What a life.

I wish we had a better farmers market than we do.
