Good Morning, Everyone, and Happy Papabean's Day to all you Papabeans out there!

Rusty had a good night and we had a good morning routine (except that the shot was an "ouchie"). No lung treat. I'm holding off now until we can get a different bottle of Allerplex. The day is cool and damp again, but warmer weather is promised. Rusty enjoyed a chipmunk hunt yesterday and is waiting patiently to go outside today. Edward is baking bread. I've been working on putting together a bike ride for mid-August, when my NYC cycling friend will be visiting us. We are going to do a ride on Grande Isle, VT, and part of the Lake Champlain causeway (for bikes and pedestrians). We'll take our bikes on a ferry to get there, and maybe on the "bike ferry" on the causeway. You can ride all the way to Burlington, but we won't go that far. I've had fun this morning putting this ride together.

Wishing all a good day and sending healing vines to all in need.

Ella & Rusty

Rusty looks so stunning out in the field!!! Nice AMPS, too...let's see a nice green surf again, Rusty!

That bike trip sounds awesome! I really have to find a way to fit biking back into my schedule...starting with getting enough sleep to take on those early morning rides DH and I used to go on. Maybe some day.....

Have a great day, Ella!

What a great picture of Rusty. Nice start this morning. That sounds like a nice bike ride.

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

AWESOME amps there Rusty! I so expect to see you later organizing activities at the lagoon.

Wise move I think on the Allerplex. it is so odd that once you got the Amazon bottle that he no longer wanted the treat. It will be interesting to see if the new bottle makes a difference. it's good to read though that Rusty seems to be doing fine without it.

What a cool picture - Rusty in the field! hunt well there Rusty. The photo so reminded me of Mannie - he loved to be out there too.

Have a great day today. Sounds like you already are, planning the ride and all. The bike ride sounds like alot of fun. :-D

Nice amps!!! Looks like Rusty is anxiously awaiting fun and games with the chipmunks again today! I hope they come out and give him some fun stuff to do today!!

Your bike ride sounds like so much fun! I haven't ridden a bike in quite a few years, but have been giving it some seriously thought lately. Just need to get enough funds up to purchase a decent bike, used or new. I remember quite a few years ago I went on a 14 mile ride....my butt hurt like the dickens afterwards, so I know that I must purchase a new improved bicycle seat when I do get the bike!!!

Oh that sinshine on his fur must feel great. Glad to see him keeping a close watch on the Lagoon.

That sounds like a great ride. I have to admit to doing less and less. Got to start tearing myself away from the kitters.

Rusty looks good on the green lawn, maybe he'll take inspiration?

Your bike ride sounds fun. Most of our riding here involves elevation. All I have is a mountain bike.

Hi Ella!

The plan bike ride looks amazing!! I love cycling, and I'm so happy that here in Denmark there are bike lanes everywhere in the country. I usually commute by bike which is in total 13km (8 miles). Unless it's Winter or it's windy, it can be a very pleasant ride. Danes, of course, do still ride when it's snowing or raining :-D.

Your Rusty is so beautiful. He has such an amazing fur.

Have a great evening,
Cristina

Nice blues, today, Rusty. Are you taking a day off from the lagoon? Everyone deserves a day off, but don't stay away too long.

Wow, I'm in awe of your ambition and athleticism. I'm pooped after 3 miles on a bike. Of course, I only ride about once every six months! It's always too hot or too cold or too dark or too windy (I got a million of 'em). My DH used to do a lot of riding, and when we go out together I know he's bored because I'm slower and can't got half as far as he can. I do better walking.

Rusty looks gorgeous in that picture, and very intent on something. I expect to see him crouch down and wiggle his butt any minute!

Hope the rest of your day goes/went as well as the morning, Ella.

(P.S. A DH that bakes bread??!! You are one lucky woman!)

Lovely day for Rusty. I hope a new bottle of Allerplex will help. Neither one of mine like it in their food or baby food so I just put it in a syringe with water. When I do it like that, Gracie LOVES it. Tobey is ok with it.

Love the picture!!! Wow....gorgeous grass and gorgeous kitty.

Your bike ride sounds like a blast. And I can smell Edward's bread baking. Tobey hopes he will put some cimmamum in it and then Tobey can have a slice. Or at least, he can have a slice with cimmamum butter.

have a lovely day.

Nice numbers for Rusty, hope the new med will be accepted by him and that he feels better with some sunshine.

Rusty gets the greenie even though he wasn't in the lagoon very long. He had a nice day snoozing. No hunting today.

We just put our canoes on the car for tomorrow' s paddle, which will be 10 miles down Indian Lake from camp. Rusty gets to stay home and hold the fort. We have too much to do this week to be able to spend a few days down there. And when we take Rusty we have to stay a bit so that he can get acclimated.

Hope you all are having a good evening,

Ella & Rusty
