Hi Everyone, and Good Morning,
Well, I don't think Rusty read his condo, so he got the dosecrease--up to 1 unit from a fat 0.75. I guess it's possible that I gave a fur shot(s) yesterday, but I didn't smell insulin. I don't think he has an ear infection (the 3 tiny scabs he scratches are not in the ear, but outside, below the ear where it joins his face; I will have the vet look at them next Wednesday). It could also be delayed stress from the car trip (I see a similar pattern on his SS after trips; but this trip was so short it doesn't seem right that it cold cause stress). In any event, I think that a dosecrease is in order because his nadirs have been creeping upward lately. So we'll see what happens.
Rusty had a good night and woke us up early. He was eager for his test, shot and for his breakfast (2 sittings). In a little while, after it warms up a bit (45 degrees this morning), we'll go outside. It is a beautiful, sunny day and expected to go up to the upper 70s. Edward and I will do a short paddle this afternoon on a local pond and its outlet.
The cellar continues to dry out, but I don't think the water table is lower than the cellar floor yet. But it is definitely getting better.
Sending positive thoughts and prayers for Tessie Lou's biopsy today and healing vines to all sick kitties.
