Yesterday's condo: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=73101
Last night we picked my sister up from the train station, we caught up, and I started teaching her how to test, shoot, and take care of Orange. It was my first glimmer of feeling normal this week. I had a task at hand and the house wasn't so darn quiet. Today I'm at work and thinking of Yvette. I miss you baby girl.
Sienne, with Sharon getting in I didn't see your post last night on yesterdays condo. Orange hasn't done well in the past going below 0.1 units, and also I think it will be good to keep up the shots at least while I'm still here so that she can get the practice in. I wanted to go down to a drop before I tried another OTJ trial. What do you think about continuing 0.1 units today and tomorrow while I'm here and then switching him to a drop for Sharon on Sunday? The drop will be easy for her to measure - just push in and let go of the plunger, and I don't think she'd have any trouble with him going too low on that little insulin.
She's home today while I'm at work and will have a practice run testing without me. When I get home we'll get out some juice, syringes, and fruit and practice measuring doses and shooting.
