Thanks for stopping in yesterday, Wendy, Tricia, Rhiannon, and Carla.

Noodle seems to have made swift work of bounce breaking this evening. I gave a drop of honey at +2.25 to try to slow the drop a bit. A little worried about tomorrow morning, it's new Lantus pen + I have to be out of the house at a firm time to work with a supplier. Hopefully I'll have enough time in the morning to see if I'll need to abort the cycle to keep her safe.

We have an appointment with her vet Friday morning to discuss a dental :nailbiting: I want to discuss too that I'm noticing more and more white strands in her fur and would like some reassurance that its not a nutrient deficiency. One of these days I might step out of my helicopter... Hope all is well in L&LL. Time to visit some condos while I get some work done.

Keep is safe tonight Noodle. Momma's got to go earn some cat food tomorrow.

I'm going to be watching to see what your vet says about the white hairs. My civie is 10, and I'm starting to notice more in his fur too (also black and white, but more black than Noodle). If Noodle needs a dental, it might be just the thing to flatten out her numbers a bit.

Ain't that the truth, feels like it's all I buy. I'm especially curious about the white fur with Noodle because it almost looks like the white patch on her back is spreading relatively quickly. I wonder if when she was very ill earlier this year her fur changed as it grew in and it's only now that it's "showing up" with summer shedding, etc.

Way to break a bounce Noodle! She's looking good surfing those blues tonight.

I hope your vet appointment goes well and that you're able to get Noodle's dental sorted out soon - I do think it will make a difference to her numbers to have it done. :) I'm also interested in what your vet thinks about the white fur - both of my two have got more white hairs in the last 2 or 3 years (they're 12 now), but Regan significantly more so than Rosa. My vet didn't comment on it at her last appointment and I'd always thought that it might be because Regan has a couple of very small white patches anyway that she might genetically be prone to some white hairs, but I'll be interested to see if your vet thinks it might be something other than genetics and ageing.
