Hello and Happy Father's Day to the cat dads out there!! I hope everyone is having a nice day.

Yesterday, thanks to Billie's flat yellow, I got out to see my favorite band play in NYC! It was really nice to get away and not have to worry. I got back in time for T/F/S and went right to bed so I didn't update, but her PMPS last night was 194, and I woke up for a +3 which was 183. We both went back to bed after that and got some beauty sleep.

We'll see if she's ready to break that bounce today!
 
Billie is high, and I just gave her a fur shot :sad: I don't think I got any insulin in her at all. She scooted away as I was shooting, and I smell it on her fur.

Considering the fur shot and the fact that I have been trying to roll back her shot time to 9:45 after a late shot that messed us up last Thursday night, would it be okay to shoot at 9:45 tomorrow AM?

I was just gearing up to ask about a dose increase, too. I know that I have to wait at least 6 cycles now because of the fur shot, but we have been at 1.5u for almost 20 cycles with some nice numbers and some not as nice numbers, and I was about to check in to see how it looks and what we should do next.

On the bright side for me, I can go to bed soon. On the bright side for Billie, no more pokes tonight.
 
I don't have an answer to your question, but wanted to say sorry to hear about the fur shot, I hate when I do that and I have done it quite a few times! :oops: I see that Wendy is on line and will probably be answering your question soon!
 
Thank you Ruth!! I appreciate that. I know it happens sometimes. There is a bug of some sort flying around inside tonight, so she is on patrol and didn't want to sit still.
 
Fur shots happen and you might have gotten some Into her.

Since you didn't give insulin, you can pick whatever time you want to shoot tomorrow and go every 12 hours from there.

Let's let her depot refill and see how she does.
