Trix wasn't quite as gluttonous last night or this morning as she was Thursday evening, but she did OK. Of course now I'm greedy...I want the gluttony all the time! Last night, she was definitely hungry, but not digging what I was offering. First, she was waiting by the laundry room door while I prepped a snack, when I came out with her plate, she looked so expectant, then so bummed when she saw what it was. She looked around for something better, sniffing every little crumb on the floor, and when she didn't find much of anything, she finally caved and ate some of her own plate.

Last night I gave the green light to go ahead with her OTJ party nailbite_smile ...everyone here is right: she earned it and deserves it. I feel weird about it since our circumstances aren't "traditional", but she should have her party!

Other than that, nothing else new to report. I iz sleepy (and crashed REALLY hard after work last night) and need some serious ~O) ~O) ~O) before getting ready for work.

FINALLY TIME TO PARTY!! I SERIOUSLY WONDERED WHEN THE SUBJECT WOULD COME UP!! YEA TRIXIE AND AMY. This is the longest run of normal numbers before a party I have seen since I joined the FDMB. Will we still get at least weekly updates?

I don't know....you might still get daily updates. After posting every day for over 3 years, I cannot imagine what it would be like to suddenly stop...makes me a little teary-eyed, actually.

Well, she did deserve it, and she is off the juice,,.. so why not? :cool: Her numbers today are great. She's doing very well, eating what she needs I think. I had such an adjustment to make with fuds after Mannie went through the p'titis thing. Took a while for me to realize, this is the way it us now. I think she's doing great. :cool: :razz: :razz:

:lol: :lol: you can always pull a me and post anywyas. It was year of dailys even after Mannie passed, before I cut back. I hope once she is officially OTJ that you will continue to post on how she's doing. I alwyas look for a Trixie condo.

Woo hoo. We finally get to party for Trixie. dancing_cat dancing_cat Her numbers look good again today. You can post here as long as you want. No one will mind.
 
A nice start to the evening so far. Appy is typical....slow to start, but not bad. Hopefully it will pick up after the pepcid kicks in and after the pump is primed with a syringe of fuds. The syringe really does seem to kick start her appy, so with any luck will get another little glimpse of my glutton later this evening.

For now, she is helping me search for kale recipes. I think she missed me today. When I got home, she was relaxing on one of her pillows. I went over to pet her, and she immediately started licking my hand. She's so sweet.

Yep, she deserves the celebration, so we shall party soon!

Did I hear the word "PARTY"?? It will be grand! Just let Chef Rusty know a day in advance so he can do a menu (and let him know if there are any special things Trixie would like on the menu). Amy, this is so cool!!
