Good Morning, Everyone,

Sorry to be MIA yesterday evening: I was feeling the effects of the novacaine from my dermatological "procedure".

Rusty had a good night. At bedtime we had a great play session with the bell balls. He was really feeling good. Last night he slept well with good breathing, ate all his nighttime food (some probably just before AMPS; or maybe the 223 is a bounce from low numbers last night), and this morning had a good test, shot, breakfast (first sitting eaten, the rest saved for "later"--Rusty is a grazer/free-feeder), tasty lung treat, a schmooze, and now a nap in his little bed. The sun is shining and we'll go outside later to check on things.

Our area really got hit by the heavy rains. Many rivers and streams are in flood stage, roads closed, etc. The water in the lakes is very high.

This afternoon I will take my car in for service and at the same time pick up Rusty's lab reports. The vet told me on the phone yesterday that his urinalysis results were excellent and that his pancreatitis score on the Spec fPL is 4.7. (In October, in his last pancreatitis flare, his value was 3.8).

It is great to read that Rusty is doing well. It also great that the p'Titus flare doesn't seem to bother him too much, short of the higher numbers. LUCKY! It was such an issue with Mannie: appy, how he felt, etc. Rusty, good job!

Bummer on the roads etc there. I do so hope things improve soon. Some sun would be good huh.

Morning Ella, nice report on Rusty. Mags is also a grazer/free feeder and often has a low yellow for the am pre shot. Rusty will slide down I predict today. I hope your derm procedure turns out to be benign. I'm always getting keratoses removed with the freezer gun. Glad you found Rusty's Wellness yesterday.

Nothing interesting up there, Rusty. At least come down to the grotto. I'm glad he's feeling good. :-D Ugh on the novacaine! I've had way too much of that recently. Anne is going to LOVE having an REI in town, maybe too much. ;-)

I hope Rusty keeps sliding down today and gets better from the Pancreatitis quickly.

What a weird day of numbers. this is the 8th cycle on the new dose and we seem to be going backwards! Yesterday was a pretty good day, so maybe this is a bounce (from a cat who rarely used to bounce). I'm sure it's all owing to the pancreatitis.

My car got a good servicing today, even getting "de-salted" from the winter crud. While I was waiting I enjoyed the view from the "waiting room", John Brown's Farm (the Abolitionist), a nice walk from my auto shop:

Rusty's SS gives so much great info. I"m sorry he's dealing with Pancreatitis again and I haven't been able to visit and send him healing vines. I hope his usual numbers will come back and the ptitis will improve. Poor Rusty. At least he felt like playing :-D

I was sorry to read that he had a cough and difficulty breathing the other night. I wonder if it is related to the increased humidity and molds, etc in the air? I hope the Allerplex will continue to work for him. It's doing really well for Tobey and I started giving it to Gracie because the clavamox is making her itch. It's definitely helping her.

And you, too! Hope you are feeling better today after your procedure. Tobey is coming to give you an ultra special massage and he spent all day making his recipe of cimmamum cookies for his favorite Auntie Ellabean. There is cimmamum ALL over my kitchen!!!!

Hope you all have a restful night and are safe from all the flooding. Extra vines for Rusty to feel better each day. And you, too.

Rusty, there's no need to follow Neko to PInksville. Sorry she's been such a bad influence Ella, maybe they can climb down together tonight.

Sending tons of healing vines for his pancreas, although it sounds like he's feeling good.

That's a nice view from your car shop. Reminds me it's time to do the same here and visit the chocolatier while I'm waiting. :-D
 
Thanks for visiting, guys. Rusty is coming down slowly. He was whacking his bell balls around and has since come upstairs for his nighttime food. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
