Not happy that he's suddenly learned to dive and bounce but I guess what will be will be. Personally I think that Purrdy is just a very evil cat with a bad sense of humour ;) - we threaten him with an increase so he dives, we get a blue ascending cycle and say to ourselves at least he's not yellow so he throws us his first pink - not funny Purrdy!

Vyktor on the other hand is just gorgeous. Woke up this morning sharing a pillow face to face with my arm around him and his two little arm's holding my face :joyful:

Meg is misbehaving :rolleyes: she wants new hay so she keeps trashing her room to let me know that the situation is unsatisfactory. I was going to get some yesterday but by the time the stupid chemist finished stuffing me around picking up Purrdy's insulin (1 week to touch down) the hay shop was closed. It's not open at all today so I will have to face more of the wrath of Meg :blackeye:

Damn chemist made me wait the better part of half an hour to tell me they didn't have vials and would have to specially order (the prescription said a vial or a pack of cartridges) I said I didn't want a vial I wanted the cartridges. The girl brought out the box to show me and I said yes that's them. Then they had me wait another 20 mins until they gave it to me and they tried to give me non-insulin syringes with it :mad::mad::mad: At this point I still don't have syringes as they didn't have the right type (hence why they tried to palm me off with the dodgy ones - great chemisting!) and neither did the next chemist I tried.

Can't believe the chemist would try and sell you non insulin syringes....that is terrible. Can you get them from the vet?
With the insulin...I ring the chemist a couple of days before I need the insulin and ask them to order it in for me and then go in a couple of days later for the box of 5. I order my syringes from just one girl at the chemist, she knows me well now and likes to order them for me...and rings me when they arrive in. They have lots of boxes there but not the type I use. It can be a real pain when things go wrong with the insulin or syringes ordering/buying can't it?
 
Vyktor BG 101 :cool: also, 5 1/2,weeks into the Plaque Off, he has eaten all by himself for the last two days and is on track today too (anti jinx)

And perhaps a slide into home plate for Purrdy :cool:

@Bron and Sheba - i know on the chemist right, I was furious, if I didn't know what they tried to give me was wrong who knows what could have happened :mad: I'm going to ring around some chemists to try and track them down but if I can't find them the vet should have them. I think the chemist will be cheaper if I can get them there - if you don't mind me asking, how much do you pay for a box?

Nice slide job, Purrdy. So now you know there is absolutely nothing of interest on the pink floor, you can stay away from it Blue is the place to be, with occasional visits to green. In fact, moonlight swims are all the rage, as long as you stay out of the deep end!

Hurrah for Vyktor eating on his own and for his BG (anti-jinx)!!!!! :):):) Love how you woke up. Sweet kitty.

Meg, there is no point in throwing a fit. There is nothing Mama can do about the hay until Monday, so suck it up and wait.

Ugh on the syringe and insulin snafu. Can you switch to a different chemist? Sounds like that one is a bit dodgy to me. I hope the rest of your day goes better!
 
Nice slide for Purrdy. I'm glad Vyktor is eating on his own. :) Sorry about the fiasco with the insulin and syringes. That is so unprofessional and dangerous.

Hi Serryn. I know you asked Bron but I thought I would answer your question. I pay either $20 or $29 for a box of syringes depending on which chemist I buy them from. Love to all of you and I hope Vyktor and Meg are well and that Purrdy doesn't get any more pink numbers from now on and that he is well too.
