Yesterday's condo

Happy Caturday LL!

Another late condo due to DM problems! Looks like it must be evening though...China's doing her thing again....LOL

As long as she surfs safely while I have to be gone and can't watch her, I guess having her be so low at night isn't too bad

DM called about noon and was miserable again, so I ran over there and she wanted to go back to the hospital. I told her I was getting concerned that Medicare was going to throw a fit at her going to the ER for a 3rd time in 5 days for the same problem, especially when they can't find anything wrong, so instead of the ER, I took her to a different hospital's Urgent Care clinic. That was basically a waste of time, but the doctor there did call in a prescription for Phenergan to go with the Zofran, so hopefully between the 2 of them, we can get the nausea down to where she can hold down something. He sent her to the hospital for a repeat of the bloodwork and another bowel x-ray (despite me telling him they'd done that twice already and found nothing) so I'm sure it was just him covering his butt.

So another 140 miles of driving down today, as well as pushing DM all over the hospital getting her to the lab and then radiology, so I'm beat! I asked several of the ladies in her apartment building to check on her, and I called to remind her to take the Zofran again, so I'm hoping we have a quiet night (HEAR THAT CHINA???)

OK China...that's about enough of that!

Broke out a little higher carb food just because I'm too tired to stay up all night, so I want to see if I can get her surfing sooner rather than later. China always does a delicate balancing act right on the 50 line, but even though it's "normal" for her, it makes me worry and continue to test, so if I can get her up a little and stay there by feeding a little higher carb early tonight, I'm going to try it!

I said I would stop by if Max looked like he was going to have a pj party. It looks like you have succeeded, for now at least, to avoid one. What % carbs did you feed China?

China, once again you were such a good girl while Mama was out, and now you are making up for it! Time to slide on out of the lagoon. You can keep your toes in, but the rest of you really needs to dry off. :mrgreen: I'm hoping Cinco will join you there tomorrow for a nice Sunday swim.

Chris, I'm so sorry your mother is still uncomfortable. It's just awful to be so miserable and be told there's nothing wrong. How frustrating for both of you. Sending healing vines for your DM and safe surfing vines for China.

Hi Chris Sorry to hear about your mom not feeling well. It must be frustrating when they can't find anything. Sending prayers for her to feel more comfortable.
