Good morning! Well she is still in the stinky pinky this am! She is taking a while to settle in to this dose and Im trying to be patient but do not like those pinks.Her history shows she will drop, its just frustrating. Shes coming up on 5 months since dx now and I cant help myself worrying. I am going to work at 10:30/+3 so will get a test in before I leave and hand it over to mom from there. That 88 was 1 hour after her meal!! Mom said she will test again in an hour. Should she test sooner?

i think she's fine going another hour. that was only a drop of 5 points in the past hour, so she's likely about at the nadir and will either stay flat or begin to rise before long.

eta - she'd have to drop another 40 points before you had anything to be concerned about, and after only dropping a few points (essentially flat) i doubt she's suddenly going to go down another 40.

Thanks Julie! I was concerned she ate her normal meal at +5 and was lower at +6..an. hour after eating.

She is at 92..so I think mom can take an hour break. I will be home to test at+9.

she's surfing. you can probably let her go til +9 before rechecking her. looks like she's hit bottom.

glad i could make mom happy! :lol:

you had 3 tests over 1.5 hrs that were all essentially the same - 93-88-92 - at that point you can be pretty confident she's not going to surprise you with a dive.
