Yesterday's thread

Hello!

Nice easy day yesterday number wise. Had a little bit of excitement last night when my dad was spraying a cleaner a little too close to the propane hot water heater and caused a flashover. Nothing real damaged. The area around the hot water heater is a bit scorched. The bathroom rug was a little singed. (The bathroom has the hot water heater in it. Small house. :) ) I found a small flame this morning on one of the pipes to the dryer (also propane ran) and Dad figured that flashover helped us find a tiny leak in that pipe. He spent this morning fixing and testing it and now both parents are off to a family reunion in Mississippi. He left the line to the dryer turned off until I need to use it.

@Rhiannon - I do the same. Keep checking to make sure but worrying Cain's going to drop fast on me. He's been really great and staying flat. Hopefully he'll continue that today cause I'm out again for this evening.

Re: 6/14 Cain AMPS 80; +2.5 73

It always feels like an oven to me down there.

We had a few inches of hail today up here in the mountains. Marble size and complete coverage of the ground....
and it's not even July yet. We usually have all the hail in July.
But we needed moisture desperately so we'll take it....

Surf Cain Surf.....

Cain's doing his "oh look that cold drink you have has water on the side of the bottle, I'm going to lick it" thing again. I guess he likes the cool surface. I don't know. Sometimes he's weird. :) Well I'm off for the evening. I'm going to leave them a meatsicle with some freeze dried treats in it. Hopefully they'll eat it and the ants won't find it. (I swear these are crazy ants and if the lady at the Home Depot is right, we might have to call in an exterminator at this rate. :-| )

@Rhiannon - Oh wow hail. Hopefully there wasn't much damage. I figure one day I'll get a cookie recipe to cook in the car with the temps we have. :) Since it's so oven like out there. I know that needed moisture bit. We had a drought here two years ago and I still think we don't get enough rain. I'm hoping we don't fall into drought again. Hopefully you'll get some rain soon.

+10.67 58

Just got home. Tonight went longer than I expected. Friends decided to watch a movie and I didn't calculate the time right. I fed both cats cause I wasn't sure how long it was since they ate last. Most of the 1/2can of FF meatsicle I left out was gone at least.

How bad is it to shoot a possible food induced PS? With how much data I have on Cain? I'd like to keep my schedule as close as possible tonight. It would be off by nearly 40minutes if I tested and shot at the time they finished eating.

Edit: more than 40 mins. I got home 40mins into the two hour no eat window I usually use.

Re: 6/14 Cain AMPS 80; +10.67 58 Question for upcoming PMPS

Cain likes to go down from his +10 to PS, at least from what I can see looking at his SS. On 5/16 he was 58 at +10, like he is tonight, and went to 53 at PS. I guess the worry is whether he would be under 50 if he hadn't had food at +10.67, because you don't want to shoot under 50. Again looking at the SS, Cain doesn't seem to get much more than 10 points from food, if you look at the +1's you have done. If you test at his normal PMPS and he's 60 or above, you are probably OK. Hope that helps. I might not be up at your PMPS.

Re: 6/14 Cain AMPS 80; +10.67 58 Question for upcoming PMPS

Yes, that helps. :)

I held off his normal test time till about an hour after they ate (pushing it back thirty mins I think...) and I got a 77. So I think I'll be safe to shoot.

Re: 6/14 Cain PMPS 77

PMPS is 77

I shot it really late compared to my normal time. Well not reaaally late but it felt like it. :) I'm going to be stepping it back when I can. I have to wait 24hours before I can move the time again right?

PS number might be food induced. It wasn't a full two hours before the shot with no food due to my late arrival home. As such I will be getting a +1 and +2 to make sure his numbers stay stable.

Re: 6/14 Cain PMPS 77

Starting tomorrow (or later today  ), you can move your shot time up 15 minutes each shot, or once a day for half an hour.

Re: 6/14 Cain PMPS 77

Oh cool. :D

Since I stay up so late, I know it's the next day but doesn't seem so until I go to sleep or the sun comes up.

Re: 6/14 Cain PMPS 77; +1 76; +2 84

+2 84

Well looks like he's going to do fine tonight *knocks on wood*. I'm going to get a +4 or +5 if I can. Really tired tonight so that's going to be tough.
