i believe becos i saw the raise of his BG, then i increased his dosage... but happens almost at the same time...
but let's see how he does these few days w/o insulin...

keep my fingers crossed...

If you look at Belle's SS, you can see his numbers start going up as his dose is increased from the 0.05. When you increased to 0.1, you got more yellow. When you increased to 0.25, you got more pink. If he's getting too much insulin, the more you increase, the more he will bounce.

Since it is difficult for you to get mid-cycle tests during the PM cycle, this might help give you a clearer picture of what is going on with Belle. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

but from the SS, we can see, after we lower this dosage from 0.5 to 0.25, there are more red and pink, than before when he had yellow and even some blue with 0.5

He had a lot more blue on 0.25u.

The premise is that if he’s going low at night, he’s bouncing up by AMPS. Take a look at these two spreadsheets which I might have linked before:

Tucker’s SS On his SS, we actually saw the low but look how long it took him to clear the bounce and start churning out good numbers once the insulin was stopped.

Toronto’s SS On this SS, we did not see the low; but there had to be one and look how long it took the bounce to clear after the dose was drastically reduced.

I only offer these two you because you’ve chosen the path to stop the dose. Even though his numbers look worse, you might want to just give it time so you will know for certain; we can always fast track him up if need be; it’s good you are making observations but even high numbers from a bounce will cause what you are describing. He could have reasonably gone low the night of 6/11 and potentially the night of 6/12. We don’t know.
 
i actually wanted to increase his dosage, so but so many other members suggested stopping insulin first and see... so i take the advice... let's see how it goes...
and i hope to find some answers ...

I think this is a reasonable choice, just to see if he is perhaps overdosed.

It's very counter-intuitive, but a cat that is overdosed can have high numbers. Too much insulin can cause blood sugar tests that look like too little insulin.

At any point if you think he's becoming sick or showing ill effects of not having insulin, please say so.

In the meantime, sending another day of green vines to your sweet boy!
