Good Morning, Everyone,

The sun is out(!), Rusty had a good night, and there's a paddle today but I can't go on it because I have an appointment with the dermatologist (scheduled in January). Edward has to stay home with Rusty because there's no way he can get to the start of the paddle with his boat (we cartop our canoes and our friends can't carry additional boats). Well, the two boys will have a nice time. I should be back before +9. The doctor is in Potsdam, 72 miles away. While there I will stop at the Agway feed store and check out the codes on the cans of Wellness turkey and chicken.

Rusty had a good test this morning and an "ouchie" shot (he pulled away after I pushed in the plunger, so I think all the insulin got in). He enjoyed his breakfast, his lung treat, his schmooze, and his nap. I know he'll enjoy going outside today when it gets a bit drier (it rained all night). He had good breathing all night and no coughing.

Our county has declared a state of emergency in the areas where flooding is taking place (rivers out of their banks), but my drive to Potsdam should be OK.

Wishing everyone a good day. I'm off to Potsdam (my "home" for the 4 years I was in college),

Ella & Rusty

Yippee that the sun is out there; here, I forgot what a sun looks like  Sorry to hear you can't go paddling; let your arms take a break (I tried it once and told DH "this is not fun--is this supposed to be fun?" Not my forte; kudos to you because I know it must be a great workout! Please be careful driving; you never know when a road is flooded and impassible. It really sounds like Rusty did get his insulin today; glad he's feeling well. Have a wonderful day!

Re: 6/13 Rusty AMPS 176

Nice blue start for Rusty. Sorry about the ouchie shot. They happen. Rusty has already forgotten about it, right big guy? Good dermy vines coming your way. Have a great day Ella!

Nice start for Rusty. Yay for sun! Bummer you can't paddle, though  . Good luck with the doc appointment and finding fuds while you're out there!

Re: 6/13 Rusty AMPS 176

Hi Ella. Too bad you and Edward will miss the canoe outing today but I'm sure you have other exciting ventures on the calendar. The boys should have a good time hanging out doing guy things like a good brushing for Rusty etc. Hope all goes well at the Dr. Have a safe trip and avoid the high water. Have a great day.

Re: 6/13 Rusty AMPS 176

Have a safe trip and good vines for your dermatologist visit. I'm sorry you and Edward had to miss the paddle. Good thing there's going to be lots more. I was glad to read that Rusty had a nice calm night. YES!!!
YAHOOOO on the sun. We have it here also... I almost forgot what the big bright round thing was!
It's time to get out and pull weeds.
have a great day. hugs and scritches and safe travels.

Re: 6/13 Rusty AMPS 176

Nice to see Rusty in blue this morning, it looks like the boys get a nice relaxing day while you have to drive! should be a nice day for it though, much better than doing it in the rain! Good "vetty" vines!

Re: 6/13 Rusty AMPS 176

Nice start for Rusty today. I hope he slides into the lagoon. Sorry you have to miss the paddle. I hope your appointment goes well and you can find some fuds with the right code.

Hi Ella

Sorry you and Edward had to miss the paddle today, but Rusty's nice blue amps maybe made up for it?? :-D

I hope your day went well, and derm visit went well also. Dare I hope it was routine? :-D

Re: 6/13 Rusty AMPS 176, +9 137, PMPS 195

Nice blue day for Rusty today. Maybe lagoon scheduled for this evening?

I hope your trip went well and avoided flooded areas. I hear you on not wanting to miss a paddle. My body craves getting on the water and it's annoying when other life interferes.

Re: 6/13 Rusty AMPS 176, +9 137, PMPS 195

Hi again,
Rusty and Edward had a good day together. Rusty is still in "resting" mode after his vetty appt. and because of his pancreatitis. He had good appetite all day and is now chillaxin' in his basket.

My dermatology appointment went well: I had a "thingy" taken off my face. Hopefully it was benign. The office was crowded and I had to wait for over an hour, but I had my novel with me and had a good read (I don't have much time to read these days at home!). The sun disappeared quickly today, but at least it didn't rain this far north (they are getting the big storms to the south of us).

The vet called to tell me that Rusty's urinalysis results were excellent; his Spec fPL score was 4.7 (last October, when he had a pancreatitis flare, it was 3.8). I can pick up the printed results tomorrow, when I take my car in for servicing (the vet is next door to the auto shop--very convenient).

Hope all is well in LL. Off to visit a few condos,

Ella & Rusty

Well, it was a very few condos! I needed to collapse after my day. Rusty is in fine form tonight. We had some great games with the bell balls and he is still downstairs, batting them around.

Thank you all for visiting. Sorry I missed most of your condos.

Ni ni,

Ella & Rusty
