YESTERDAY:http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/posts/1437273/

Very noisy kitty. I set my alarm for 5 minutes later last night but Max was the alarm. Nice start but not green like I thought I might see with all that meowing. It always surprises me that he doesn't get on the bed to try and persuade me to get up. He can do it when he wants to but I guess it's hard for him.

Vines and prayers for all with extras for Tricia's 4, Molly's DM, Marge's DM, Amy's DM, and those in need. Have a nice green day everyone.

That is a good AMPS Max. Now what are you going to do with it?
How about a swim in the lagoon. Sheba is in there waiting for you.....and she needs someone there to tell her not to go so far into the deep end.

Actually, this is your yesterday:-) Hi Elise, thanks for the link to the Ron Hines article, he has written a lot of good articles but I had not seen this one. I have heard people say their kitty will alert them when they are going low, but Tiger isn't a "talker", she does her talking with head butts and loud purring if I'm asleep.

I suspect Max will be green by the time you read this post, he had a nice slide yesterday. I hope you had a relaxing evening with a good night's sleep! Thanks for all your wisdom and encouragement:bighug:! :bighug: also continuing vines and prayers for your mom.

Nope. Max is trying to make this bean CRAZY! Okay maybe he already has done so.

Thanks Ruth. Still trying to figure out this iPad.

Big food spike? what % carb food is he getting? There is still plenty of time for Mr. unpredictable to drop to green today though:smuggrin:..c'mon Max..dont drive the bean more crazy huh?o_O

He got his usual Gerbers followed by ff chicken with FD. I left him a little turkey & giblets while I was out which he surprised me and ate. He's coming back down. He is the mystery man. Nothing makes sense.

Elise, I can't find a condo for Max today--I hope all is well with your Mom today seeing as how there was no CG today. Looks like Max had a reasonable nice green surf, hope you had a good day! :bighug::bighug:

p.s. We bought my mom an IPad for Christmas awhile back;she hates it and is still crying for her big old computer back again!

Thanks for looking out for us Ruth. Max had me worried again today. after I fave him a drop extra Lantus his appy was off and I had toget over to my mom's. He refused food at +6 but only went from 55-52 essentially the same at +6.75 so I left him with food out. Of course it was still there whe I got back. I don't think he left his bed the whole afternoon. I got home barely in time to shoot. Thankfully he ate the fresh food after his rushed shot.

I was home late because my sister found a kitten on my mom's porch. She/he looks to be no more than 5 months old. I sent pictures to someone in the FPS and she said it's a Lynx Point Siamese. I looked it up and of course she is right. I'd love to keep it but I don't think Max could handle it. I was afraid to bring her home to try in case there is anything wrong with her. She's super friendly. I even got headbutts.

I'm trying to it's a picture of the kitten. I took it with my iPhone and it doesn't show up on my iPad. I'm trying now from my iPhone.

Does she belong to someone near your mums place?
Last year I had a cat turn up at our place every day for weeks and I thought she was a stray. I fed her every day and even kept her overnight at times.....hadn't worked out how I would get Sheba to accept her because sheba hissed every time she saw her.
I decided to adopt her but first thought I should see if anyone owned her. I did a letter box drop in the area near us and got two phone calls. She belonged to a family who had recently moved into the next street!!!
Good luck with it all. She is just gorgeous. Does she have a microchip?

We are going to take her to the vet tomorrow to see if she has a chip. That would be the best if she does. A neighbor thought she had seen her before. She doesn't have a collar. Nobody on my mom's street knows her so far.
