Omigosh, I have been so sick and on meds, it`s all I can do to give Lulu her insulin, let alone poke her ears for tests. After many tries, I finally got one. Poor little thing, it was not easy to get enough blood for a test.
Hope you are all doing well, it`s been a few days since I`ve posted.

I've been wondering where you were. Sorry to hear you've been sick, Lori. Lulu looks like she's doing well. If you still are too ill to test, you might think about giving a little less insulin, as it looks like Lulu is totally capable of going low on this dose. You need to make sure she's safe while you take care of you.

Sending lots of healing vines for you!

Lori - so sorry that nasty bug is overstaying it's welcome. :bighug: More healing vines coming over the Rockies.

Tricia makes a good point. There's nothing wrong with temporarily lowering her dose to .5U to keep her safe, until you can monitor more.

Sending get well wishes your way!
I know hOW hard it is to be sick and to take care of our precious kitties at the same time.
I'm glad Wendy and Tricia made their suggestion to reduce he dose. That way you can be sure Lulu is safe.
Lulu knows her Momma needs her rest so she can get well and take care of her.
BUG-BE-GONE!!

Sorry to hear you're still not feeling well Lori. I hope you're on the road to recovery now. I agree that reducing the dose when you're not well enough to monitor if she does start dropping is definitely the safest option. Sometimes you have to put your own health first to make sure you're well enough to handle whatever Lulu throws at you next.

Surf safe Lulu - let your mama rest and get better.
