Cleo had very good appy this am. 4 of the 5 P's in place. Two complete misses in the LB (Thank you DH for cleaning it up!) Glad we have vet appt on Sat. I wonder if vet cannot get urine from her, if she may just give me a common AB used for UTI's? Not the best situation, but I hate to leave her there. Very stressful, as we all know.

Morning Jane,

What a pretty blue to start the day, and a great WC report as well. Good luck with the vet visit this weekend. If they can't get a urine sample, they might ask you to try and get one at home. I had to do that for my other kitty Smokey. She always pees in her carrier, so always an empty bladder in the vets office.

Thanks all for the good wishes! Cleo's +2 was 88 when I left for work. I will definitely have to get home at lunch to check her. She was eating her LC. My stomach is in a little knot. She has been surfing nicely, but what if today is the day she dips too low? nailbite_smile nailbite_smile

+6.5 89 She is surfin' safely!! :-D :-D Gave me a hard time catching her. She can probably tell I have to hurry - LOL. Ate some of her FF appy treat and some LC.

PMPS 92 I shot PM about 15 minutes late. Cleo ate her FFAppy treat, and about 2 tsp LCFF.

Great day for Cleo! :-D :-D Seems like she is feeling even better. Not hiding as much, hanging out more, yet sleeping deeper. Nothing that jumps out at you, but just a general feeling :-D

I am praying he'll continue to improve, and hope the urine collection will be successful at the vet.
 
Looking fantastic!

If the vet is checking for a UTI, he should get the urine by cystocentesis and do a culture and sensitivity. It only takes a small amount of urine. Hopefully he can get a sample.

Quite often, if there is a UTI, numbers are up. It is also less likely, but not impossible, for her to have a UTI if she has no sugar in her urine.
