6/11 Shasta

WCR: All Ps in place. Pretty good appy for the little girl this morning. Had a little fun play earlier and now she's napping. I'm contemplating a nap, too!! Got lots of purrs this morning. Oh and I weighed her and she's up a little to 9.88lbs (she was 9.13lbs on 5/31 according to vet's scale; 9.90lbs on 4/20 according to my scale.) YAY! She looks healthy and is acting like a happy cat; jumping with ease, playing and hissing, and lots of napping!!!! :-D

WHR: I made myself get up after my first btb, but I really wanted to go back to bed. :YMSIGH: Then, I was laying in a Mannie sunbeam with Shasta and she started curling and stretching, so I did the same. Got one pop in my low back (left side) and then another pop on the right side. OOPS! Good thing I have another chiro appointment this afternoon. I do have a little headache. 'Tis the season.

OT: So for those of you who didn't see my front door transformation yesterday, here's the story + pictures... So, I've been renting this house for 9 years and there has been this hideous "thing" covering the front door window ( hideous window covering ) So, finally, I decided to take off that thing. Talk about a bug graveyard. ICK! FINISHED PRODUCT!!!!! Stained glass window - front door I love it!!!! :-D

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Morning Deborah ~O) ~O) ~O)

What a nice day for Shasta. Great numbers too. Looking great there Shasta. maybe a dip into the green lagoon?

I love the new front door window covering - WOW. It looks great!

One has to love those Mannie sunbeams... cool that he keeps ending them. :-D I love the curling and stretching - kitties are so great when they do that in those sunbeams. :-D Sorry for the pops with your back - I hope the chiro appt will help with that.

Have a great day today.

Hi Michelle & Devon! I'm pretty sure Shasta dropped down into the lagoon, but it was somewhere in the +5 range and she was so comfortably sleeping by my side, I hated to wake her. Now she's at +6=100, so that really is a green, right?! I keep finding myself stopping and staring at the window coverings because they are just so pretty. I need to go check them out tonight and see what they look like from the outside! Ok, I'm starving so I guess I'll go put on some real clothes and go grab some lunch, run my errands and go to the chiropractor's office! Hope you all are having a great day.

What a great report on Shasta this morning. She's looking good today. I hope the chiro appointment helps with those pops in your back.

Hi Deborah, nice report on Shasta today. She sounds like a happy girl today and enjoy those btd's while you can. I hope the chiropractor helped the back.
Did you install the stained glass window yourself? I love it.

Hi Carla & Ann! Shasta's doing pretty ok tonight. Her appy has been ok, but she's been very moody tonight. I started doing a little sewing tonight, but only little tutorial type things...learned how to sew a buttonhole, blind stitch (still needs work), and a nice hem (no rough edges showing). Meanwhile, she's been in her carrier...sulking. Tomorrow, I think I might break out my first real sewing project...once I decide what that will be, I'll let everyone know! Ann - the stained window is only a vinyl window film. I can peel it off if I ever get tired of it, but I'm quite certain I won't!

Hope you all have a wonderful night!
