Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a brief but loud bronchial coughing spell last night, followed by labored breathing. I was worried about him, but he went back to sleep. This morning he had a good test, shot, breakfast, lung treat, and is now sleeping in his little bed by the radiator (which is on!). He preferred his bed to a schmooze and I think he needs the sleep after last night. I've been checking on him and he sounds OK.

Still raining. Our area had flood warnings all last night. The Saranac River is out of its banks along the road up to Plattsburgh. They say it will clear (briefly) this afternoon. We will go to the landfill this afternoon. That's the story for today!

Bummer on the coughing spell last night. wow, and I wonder what brought that on, guess one will not know. Good to read that all is well with him this morning.

And your radiator is on? Bet Rusty likes that. I will hope for a break with your weather - sounds like you guys are really getting hammered. Hope there is no flooding. Never a good thing on that.

Enjoy that landfill! ;-)

Eeeek, flood warnings would be so scary! I don't live in an area that gets those, but can imagine. Hope that they taper off, and that Rusty is feeling better today :-D

Nice blue start for Rusty. Sorry he had a bronchial cough attack. That sounds scary and glad he's okay. Sending some healing breathing vines. Oh yikes on the flood warnings, hope that's all it is with the warnings. Have a nice day.
Yes, you're right on the Wellness, it's just a chance when ordering online. Mags is starting to be okay with the WT mixed in with Cowboy Cookout. She may get some of Rusty's favorite as a treat, FF T&G.

Hi guys .. aww poor rusty and his poor beans .. doesn't sound like a fun night at all :sad: But I am glad to hear he is sounding better this morning .. I hope the flooding isn't too bad in your area .. have a great day!

Hi Ella. Rusty's AMPS are pretty good considering the rough night he had. So glad that heis doing better and catching up on his sleep.

I'm glad Rusty's cough cleared up! Could it have been hairball not bronchial?

Hi again,
Rusty is going the wrong way, possibly a delayed reaction to his coughing fit, possibly NDW, possibly a continuing bounce from the vetty visit, possibly anything! (also he had just finished the rest of his breakfast, so it may be a food spike).

Our basement is fine. We only have problems from melting ground water after a snowy winter.

Off to the landfill.

I hope Rusty turns things around and slides back down. I hope he doesn't have any more coughing fits. Poor Rusty.

"Possibly anything".....that's how I feel sometimes. Hope Rusty turns around soon. But no greens for overnight....that's for sleeping.
Find anything good at the dump? People throw out good stuff. When our town has it's annual trash day, we have to bring it to the Town Hall. I see items sometimes that I would love to have, but I've never seen anyone ask for things, so I don't have the nerve. The workers probably bring them home. :cry:

We finally had sun today...in fact it was hot, and I was gone all day, with the house closed up.

Rats that Rusty had a coughing attack. I'm glad he's happy in his warm little bed. I hope it was just a little blip and never happens again.

Hi again,
Rusty brought himself back down and had a low-key, but good day. He had good appetite and enjoyed some good combings. We actually saw a little sunshine and I was able to go out for a short ride on my bike when we got home from the landfill and shopping. Now it's raining again.

The landfill here doesn't have an "exchange", but our landfill down near Camp does. People have named it "Little Walmart" and anyone can bring anything there that they no longer need, but think someone might want, and anyone can take anything they would like to have. It's where we got our two wonderful real-wicker armchairs last fall. There are lots of clothes, toys, puzzles, games, china, etc., also skis, bikes, exercise machines, lawnmowers, radios, tvs, you name it.

Sorry Rusty had a coughing fit last night, but it sounds like he has recovered well. Nice PMPS!

"Little Walmart" sounds like fun! I love knowing other people will use stuff I no longer need or want (thinking of all those kitchy coffee mugs DH's aunt gives us every single Christmas!), and so often other peoples' "discards" are so cool.

We've got flood warnings for tomorrow, and it isn't even cloudy here yet. Yikes!!

Looks like Rusty turned it around some in the afternoon - woo! Keep on goin, lil dood! Rain, hmmm. That's the wet stuff that falls from the sky? I think I remember what that is...Hope you don't have too much flooding and everyone stays nice & dry. Plattsburgh? I keep saying that over and over - sounds funny to me! LOL!!
