Yesterday

Good Evening, L&LL,

Another hot and windy day here in the North Country (where hot weather is rare). Rusty hung out in front of the fan all day. But he did eat: Merrick's Limited Ingredient Chicken and FF T&G. (@Judy and Boomer ): I have some cans of Merrick Perfect Bistro Turkey and may try Rusty on it tomorrow. He wasn't thrilled with it the last time he tried it (sometime last fall, I think), but things change, so we'll see. I didn't get around to calling Chewy's about the Wellness cases. This has been a "lost" day of paperwork, some garden work, and watching Rusty. His breathing was pretty good today. But he has no energy in this weather. He enjoyed some time outdoors, however.

I'm glad Rusty's breathing was good today and he ate for you. The heat can sap your energy, especially if you're not used to it.

Rusty, dude....I knows we is cats and therefore we is finicky, but you gots to eat some fuds!! Being da LagoonMeister is a lot of work and you gots to keep up your strength!! You can't saves da kittehs if you can't do da paddlin'!

Nice numbers for Rusty yesterday and happy to hear his breathing was better! Good luck with the turkey pate! Both of my guys love it!

Glad to hear his breathing is better. The heat may be affecting his appetite, especially if he isn't used to it; all my guys have hardly any appy at all when the weather first turns hot, it takes them a couple of weeks to adjust and get back on track.

The cans I have are outdated, so he didn't get to try it. He does apparently think that the Limited Ingredient Chicken is OK (at least for now). The only problem is that it doesn't have enough calories!
