Good Sunday Morning, Everyone,

Cold, drizzle, windy. The string of bad weather continues. If this keeps up the paddle tomorrow will probably be cancelled. We'll see. We're having pancakes this morning at the home of our friends who are leading the paddle. Our friends were over for dinner last night.

Rusty and we had a good night. Rusty was eager to get into bed and slept all night between our heads. Pretty good test this morning (I'm having trouble getting blood here: it's too cold in the cabin), good shot and good breakfast. His numbers here are mostly in the lower flat blues, and that's OK. We had a great game of "cats cradle" with a fat rubber band on the string. Rusty also played with the new "camp mouse" we brought with us, and also a little with Stu's old mice.
Stu sent us a sign yesterday: I found a clump of his dander. I'm sure I'll find more (we are not the best of housekeepers). Anyway, he is here and Rusty is OK with that.

Sorry I haven't been to many condos this weekend. I had a bad migraine Friday and all day yesterday and this computer screen is very bright. Today the headache is gone (I hope). I hope we can get out today for at least a walk. This is not paddling weather!

Everyone have a good Sunday. We hope all is well in LL and that all kitties and beans under the weather will feel better soon.

Good morning, Ella. Rusty's looking very good! :)

I'd take the cold, drizzle, (wind.. eh LOL) over this heat that we're having right now. I hope that you feel better today, and I wish you to have a full and speedy recovery. I've never had a migraine before (knocking on wood), however, I've seen how they can debilitate (sp) a person. *HUGS*

(((Ella))) I hope that migraine is gone and does not return. I am sorry ....migraines are not fun...best that you rested your eyes.
Your report sounded so good...so sweet that Stu sent his love too....isn't that beautiful?

Oh, and my two send a million thanks for the great party at Camp Stu....they are still chattering about all the fun! :mrgreen:

Hi again,

We're back home. The weather down at camp was horrible and we didn't think the paddle tomorrow would take place. So we decided that rather than sit around in the rain, cold and gloom, we'd pack up and go home (where there is sunshine!!!!!). Poor Rusty got carsick again, even though he hadn't eaten anything for 4 hours. This does not bode well for the summer trips back and forth. He was obviously stressed if one can judge from his PMPS! The big guy enjoyed chasing moths in the yard when we got home, however, and ate his dinner with gusto. Now he's napping on his perch.

If there is a paddle tomorrow and if we want to paddle in the rain, we might go from here. It's a longer trip (2 hours), but we won't have to worry about leaving Rusty alone at camp, which is still very new to him. Anyway, we'll decide in the morning.

I hope everyone is having a good Sunday. Off to visit a few condos.

i spend cpl weeks at cabin where my bean belongs only to me...

I loved it!

missed my fd friends tho...gotta catch up on the doins!!

A cold, damp cabin doesn't sound great especially if you aren't feeling great. Wise move to go home. It sounds like Rusty has recovered from the trip quite well.

Oh my friend So sorry you werent feeling well! Hope it passes quickly & doesnt return!
Looks like Rusty isnt the traveler that Stu was..Sorry about that--Could you maybe give him a bit of a pepcid before the trip to settle his tummy? The weather is so crazy this whole year it is affecting everything!
Know what you mean, we found some of Copper's hair in the front window & knew he was here with us..
Hope you all are better by tomorrow & things get back to normal...
Not to worry about the 171, all will be well tomorrow--Big Hugs & Lubs from us!!

Well bummer on the weather - too bad on the paddle too, but definitely not paddle weather.... though I suppose you have been out in the rain before. Perhaps things will improve enough that you can go tomorrow.

Aiyee on Rusty getting car sick - poor guy! I hope that gets better - what fun that would be to deal with throughout the summer. omg.

Awesome on the sign from Stu. That is great, nice too that Rusty is OK with it. Kindred spirits perhaps.

I hope your headache is gone, and you are all better!

I hope you are feeling better by now Ella. Wow on the weather. It seems to be following you. Sending nice weather vines your way. Rusty, we are sorry you got car sick, maybe that is why your number is a non-Rusty number. Feel better little guy.

bummer on the weather - i'm looking out at drizzle here right now as well. it's maybe 45 degrees at 7:30pm . . . add in the rain and WOOT that describes June in Oregon! hahahahaha, but it's good for curling up with a blankie on a sunday evening.

i gave punkin rescue remedy for the car - have you tried that for Rusty? don't know if punkin would've been sick or not, but he seemed good with the rescue remedy. some kitties you just have to put it near them, but i gave punkin a couple of dropperfuls in his food.

Hmmmm...interesting numbers for Rusty!!! He's playing that up/down game like Gracie!

I'm so sorry you haven't felt well Ella and the cold and damp probably doesn't help. How wonderful you had a message from Stu!!! I hope you do get to paddle tomorrow and that you enjoy your evening!
