upped the dose by another .5 this morning to try to knock him down out of the 200's . . . at least his numbers aren't going up.

punkin has developed a new routine the past week. he circles around the coffee table while we're getting the testing equipment ready. for however long it takes, he walks around purring & meowing . . . he's a funny cat.

breakfast eaten, clean plate club for both him & anya, shot done, bath completed and he's disappeared downstairs where the litter box is. he seems quite happy & feeling good this morning.

and i went to bed at 10pm last night - DH did the +5 test - and am feeling like i actually got enough sleep before waking up at 6am. very nice.

I love the funny little routines the kitties develop...they're so full of character and personality!

How nice that your hubby took care of +5 last night so you could sleep. My hubby took care of this morning's +2, for the same reason. It is sooo nice to feel slightly rested again, isnt it?

Oh my gosh!!! That's why I need to get married! So I have someone to do the testing for me so I can sleep!! :lol: :lol: :lol: That would be nice, though!

Good luck with the dosecrease, Julie. Punkin's been doing so well and you're doing such a good job with him. Hearing how happy and healthy he is, I just know he's doing fine, regardless of his numbers.

oh Julie you are doing so great with Punkin. He is so lucky to have you AND your DH!!!!

Sleep is a wonderful thing - eh?? I had to laugh at Patty's remark about husbands - I'm very lucky too - mine always helps - and when we had Merlin and using PZI - we had to dose every 6 hrs - Joe would help me thru the nite too. yeaaa!

Here's hoping that the increase does the trick. But 200s aren't horrible. I wonder why Punkin started this new routine. He probably has figured it out that he gets fed after he gets tested and he's anticipating. Gus actually lays down on the testing kit as I try to get things ready. It's like, "This is my stuff" Cats are good communicators if people will just be receptive. Punkin has come a long way and he has you to thank for it! Now that you've gotten a good night's sleep, you're good for another month :lol:

i read that one to the husband and we both cracked up. that's about how it is - i know everyone here has had their sleep affected by the kitties we love.

:lol: and did you also give birth to your daughter so she could do the dishes, keep your house, and take care of you in your old age? ;-)

off to a graduation party for one of my former youth group kids . . . there are way too many sleep molecules floating around in our living room. punkin and anya are both sleeping, the DH has sunk lower down with the laptop on him, and even michelle is looking kinda sleepy. we gotta get going though.

I love punkins new routine - circling and meowing, cute! Funny how they all have certain things that they do.

Good luck with the dosecrease. I hope it brings things down overall for Punkin. Enjoy that extra juice Punkin! Think blue! think Green!

nice too on the sleep thing - awesome. and way to go DH! :-D
