Hello everyone!
Please check the link to your spreadsheet. If you put your cursor over the link to your spreadsheet (but don't click!), the address should show at the VERY VERY bottom left of your browser window.
If you see "pub" in the link, you can stop reading.
If you see "ccc" in the link, please follow the directions below.
1) Log into google docs and your spreadsheet
2) Click on "share" button on the upper right side of your spreadsheet
3) Choose "publish as a web page"
4) make sure the box for "automatically republish when changes are made" is CHECKED.
5) grab the URL that is generated for you there. It should have "pub" in the address, NOT ccc.
5) Copy it (ctrl + c or command + c)
6) come back to FDMB, and put it in your signature line.
If you'd like for it to show as text link (like mine below)
1) paste the URL where I have "paste your URL here"
2) Replace "name of your SS here" with whatever you want to call the Spreadsheet
3) copy the entire code and paste it into your signature.
Why am I asking you to do this? The 'ccc' URL links take up space in other people's google documents list. So, if I click on a SS link that says "ccc" that SS is automatically listed in my google docs list. Not a huge deal, but if you are someone who uses google documents a lot, having over 100 spreadsheets taking up space is not optimal.
Please take the time to follow the directions above. If you need additional assistance, you can either PM me, or post in the TECH forum for help.
