Good morning.

Another very flat day yesterday. I am very perplexed by this.
I am very much hoping that she shows some action today, but if not, I am wondering if
1) I should up the dose
2) Try out another vial of insulin

The vile is 2/3 full; from what I can see, there is nothing suspicious about it. But it is strange that Mikan stopped responding to it.

She's eating fine, behaving as usual, and pooping/peeing okay. I don't see any sign of acute illness or injury. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Have you done blood work or a dental? I've been wondering the same with Shooter... why his bg is all over the place again. I know he needs a dental though. I just have to make an appointment for an echo. Today. I'll do it today. I also need my own dental cleaning done. I'm so bad about making appointments. I have set a reminder to make appointments.

Thanks Heather!
I may have gotten ahead of myself. Looks like Mikan is on the move today :woot:
Cycle 5 - you called it, @Heather82372 ;)
Hopefully, Mikan can now drive it down a notch to get down to the green today.
But I do need to have her blood checked anyway - Thank you for the suggestion.
I think I have my dental coming up in July. Bah. At least the hygienist there is so gentle and nice.

Wishing you and Shooter a very nice day! :bighug:

Good job giving mom a green, Mikan! You don't have to be quite so stubborn about it, doncha know.

I hope she stays in some greens for you today, and that since she's been so flat, she doesn't bounce from finally hitting greens. :bighug:
Thanks Alicia.
I'm expecting some kind of bounce this evening - Mikan can't possibly pass up the opportunity. :p
I am hugely relieved though to see her coming down. At least I can rule out bad insulin and potential acute illness.
Hope this is a wake up call for Mikan and she starts working the juice!

Dang cats. It's a good thing they're so cute. :p:joyful:

Gooood meowning!
Looks like you got your wish Kit. Hopefully she goes easy on you, but happy to see she's finally giving you some action.
Is Mikan in your drama class @Alicia & Kit cat? Cause she's definitely the drama queen haha.
Good thing they're all so cute.

Hi Karolina,
I am just so happy to see some good action at last!
I was getting worried that somehow, Mikan has turned unresponsive to insulin :nailbiting:
Now I would love to know what caused this flat slump, but of course, we would never know - such is FD o_O:spam:
I'm telling myself that I just have to live with the cards Mikan deals
Wishing you, Nestle and Peanut a wonderful afternoon! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Well hooray! I’m actually glad I didn’t get to check in until now so that I got to see your sweet little drama queen finally put her feet into the ring. :D:D
Good girl giving mama some green.
You must feel a lot better, Kit.
I’m really glad she wasn’t a pancake like my girl today.

I guess those patients pants worked. It just took a little bit. I hope there’s not a big bounce coming ahead, but again like you mentioned, she does like the drama.

Paws crossed for some calm ahead for this evening. Hope it’s a great night for both of you:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci,
I really am relieved to see that she finally responded to insulin! I wasn't sure what was going on - well, I still don't  but at least I can stop worrying! ;)
I was expecting her to use the old trampoline but happily surprised to see the blue PMPS. At the same time, of course, I have to beg her not to go for diving :nailbiting:
It's always one thing or another!

Hope your day has calmed down, Staci. And I hope Ivy will break the pancake spell soon and give you a nice steady number - not too low so you can go to bed!
