6/12 Max PMBG 85 two days to go!!!

We almost there flip_cat

Day 10 of no insulin...Max is doing great, but he is driving his bean round the bend with food...

- Open can of Gourmet Seafood (which he ate as if it was tuna a day ago)
- Cat looks at food, then looks at me, then looks at food, then goes and sniffs in food cupboard
- Mom panics opens a tin of turkey and giblets
- Max eats 1/2 teaspoon and walks away
- Mom gets down on hands and knees and goes through all the available flavours in the cupboard and tries to guess which one he will eat today
- Mom finds Savoury Salmon
- Goes look for cat
- Finds cat eating an entire bowl of original Gourmet Seafood, which was given to his sister
- I get the "What?"...look
- Bean goes look for the chocolate

Sorry I have been not been on the board, but I had a bit of a situation with my civvie PIx, she just spend a night at the vet poor baby. She hurt her back and had to go in for X rays. They have given her some meds and she seems much better, but mom was a bit frazzled.

Max seems like a total ham.

You made me giggle -- or Max did. What a cat! No wonder you call him SuperMax.

Also, don't stress so much about the food. He'll eat. You're not giving insulin so if he wants to graze, it's OK.
 
All my girls graze. I figure they know where the food is, I announce it and well they can help themselves. :lol:

Good job with Max and sorry to hear that Pix got hurt.

Exciting times are a coming, I can feel it!
 
Silly D - she's a whole continent away and therefore, time does weird things out past the international date line.....so for us it's Day 10 - and SuperMax it's Day 12!

And the party will be in 4 days! ha ha ooops did I spoil the surprise?

Max is so excited there will be another Max coming to the falls.
He has started making little hats so everyone will know which Max is which.
So happy for you guys!!
 
Party Time's a-comin!!! I can hear a new condo being built as we speak.

Glad to hear Max is doing so well and acting totally 'catty' with his food. You made DH and me laugh - then stare at Crash for a while and laugh some more.

Hope Pix feels better soon.

Oh my...my brain has melted with all the soccer madness.... yes he is on day 12 today so two more days for the party :mrgreen:

So, June the 16th it is (no matter what time zone :lol: )

My Max is looking forward to welcoming SuperMax to the falls! Really, I'm starting to think we should have a little MaxVillage at the Falls. :-) Congrats on day 12!

And I totally :lol: at the description of the food-getting. Totally sounds like something my boys would try to pull!

I was thinking about you this weekend with all the soccer madness! I would think it would be exciting at first, but then you'll probably be sick of it by the time it's all over!
