What a wonderful day for Mannie yesterday - great cycles: low yellow PS numbers, made green mid-cycles. YAY! And go Mannie!! It was nice too to see that the greens could be controlled by a low MC food - YAY: no HC. Sweet! You are doing great Mannie - your bean is proud of you! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D Last night I found one of the Nanners, and the Nanner King, next to my DGS's toy basket. :shock: I am not too sure who moved it there, but the Mannie sure was giving that nanner a workout. This morning it is back with the pile. :lol: :lol: :lol: Must have been too close to the tiny humans toy stash for comfort. Breffis has been consumed with gusto this morning, CPC intact. :-D Face washing went on for what seemed like forever... :cool: :razz: It should be a great sunny warm day here - Mannie is already staring out the slider door.... waiting..... well at least until the lure of the nanners was too strong. We are now back to nanner napping. Normalcy in MannieLand.

I am off to go this morning, providing that Mannie gives me my permission slip. It looks good to go at this point: we now await that magical +2. Please Mannie? Can I? I promise to be back on time, feed you really good fuds. I swear!

Kitties!!! We are off to Gracie's today - poolside relaxing, and maybe.... if we are lucky.... her bean will cook us up some wonderful fuds! Besides.... we need to check on the catnip patch and make sure it is still doing OK. See you guys! ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, you must be so proud of Mannie; he is doing so well under your guidance. Great Mannie gave you a hiking permission slip today. Hurry! Before he changes his mind! I also was curious about the meaning of CPC - I should know but don't - is it in the lingo? Enjoy your hike. I just got a new pair of NB shoes and am trying to break them in today.

Mannie I would love to go to Gracie's pool today, especially if she is making fuds for us. Also checking on the catnip patch. Get the roadster ready, Maggie

glad you get to go hiking today! I tried nuking punkin's nanner last night but he was unmoved by the special qualities it gave the nanner. still sleeping on them this morning, however.

beautiful sunshine here - hope it's your direction as well. it would be a perfect day for a hike.

Awesome that Mannie decided to let you go have your fun!!! Love the Mystery of Mannie and the One Nanner!! Maybe he wanted to see if the nanner lost its magic being that close to the DGS's things. Tomorrow it might be two nanners!!! :lol:

Wonderful cycles for you yesterday, Mannie! Nice of you to let your mamabean out for her hike, too. Enjoy the hike, Michelle. We have "June gloom" here today, for sure. The paddle tomorrow might not go. If that's the case, we'll go back home today so as not to sit around in the rainy cold!

308 @ +11. oh ouch! well, not too surprised. I left this morning not too sure where he was headed, and the +2 was down from the +1 - even with a high carb food... so - I asked DH to feed him 10 % MC through +5, on the hour. perhaps that was over kill, but at least I felt he would be OK while I was gone. guess so, what with that 308 :lol: Sorry Mannie!!! I know you can bring that down some.... but I bet the fuds today were good, huh! :-D

Hike was nice (desert: E Washington)- not as good as the prior ones, but nice: lots of wildflowers, nice and hot and sweaty temp wise, some decent views. :-D Saw some hawks, and a few lizards.... but the sheep, who inhabit this canyon, were elusive: darn it on that! anyways - I got in about 7.5 miles, climbed about 1500 feet. SWEET~ even if it was ridiculous to drive 6 hours total for a 3 hour hike. :shock: :roll: :cool: :cool:

Hi Roni - CPC = Clean Plate Club - guess I inadvertently started that one by always making reference to Mannie's status being intact in the CPC. Ann of Ann and Tess abbreviated it to the initials... and no - you are not dense, quite the contrary! and thanks on the cycles! today's is off, but I expected it, since I upped the carbs when I was gone... OH YES!! on Tuffy - Mannie told Tuffy that in her condo yesterday - Tuffy is THE champ - no doubt!!! she apparently did those dives alot! :cool: :shock: :-D

Hi Ella - they were great sysles for Mannie, weren't they. I loved them, hated to feed him this morning what he wold not normally get. oh well... he will come down soon enough. No doubt he loved the food, and I got to go and play. Bummer on your weather!!!! I hope it changes so you can go on your paddle. Paws crossed!

hi, Manxman...we're back in town...ran away from ebbybody and spent 2 weeks in a cabin in the wild...
my silly bean don't let me outside up there either, but lots of new stuff to check out...a fire in the fireplace...
and no adoptobrats or kids to deal with!

we need to have a kitty gathering at our cabin!

A little Mannie revenge for the fuds today. Glad you got to EWA. It can really get hot over there. I'm sure the pass was beautiful today. Was 101 here. I can't imagine what August will bring. I think I hosed the horses 3 times today. Thunder tonight but still no rain, just dust, dust and more dust.

Mannie, no express rides tonight, just a gentle glide down to blue and green K?

Hi Barbara - and yes on the revenge... it's OK, I kinda knew it is what I'd get for pmps. And yes (!!) on the mtn passes - this hike was by Wenatchee, so I ended up on HYW 2, through Stevens Pass. I adore hwy 2 - amazing drive... There is still snow up there - even to the edge of the road. Mid June and hikes I did up there this time last year are still snow covered. :shock: I am not too sure how arm it got on the hike - but it was in full sun, up hill, and felt hot! wow on your 101.... aiyee. too hot for me.... I bet the horses were relieved when you hosed them down....

Hi Marje - yep, he isn't waiting - all carb influenced... well, at least he was safe while I was gone, now back to business... hike was good! not my favorite, but good. Tons of wildfowers... :-D :cool:
