Leo allowed me to give him his shot today without assistance from DH! It was near the scruff--which I normally don't do. After I shoot, I slowly remove the needle and watch as I pull out of the skin--IF Leo doesn't abruptly pull away, of course. Today he didn't pull away. This is when I question myself if it really went in and not a FS. No smell.

No answers yet on what is needed to shrink the enlarged prostate and which surgical procedure. He wants to be done with this catheter business. I don't blame him. Once again, the Cystoscopy is rescheduled for Wednesday. Awaiting results of urine culture from last Wednesday. Sometimes DH is in a lot of pain, and then not at all.

I hope the docs figure this out quickly and painlessly!

Today is 6/12, btw ;)

Maus is also an uncooperative feline, so I can sympathize. Maybe you need one of these; if nothing else, the reviews are hilarious

Thanks! That is interesting. I appreciate the link.
First I'll try the rose pruning gloves and see how that goes.
I once saw a scrappy old farmer dude (sagging overalls & all) trundle into the vets office with what looked like a large furry football under one arm. Turns out it was a massive ginger tomcat stuffed into an onion sack. Vet said it was very effective restraint while allowing access for basic exams & vaccines & no, he did not get his teeth cleaned :nailbiting: :woot:
