Jack seems to be feeling better, no cerenia yesterday or today, appetite getting back to his crappy 'normal for Jack.' There is still a diarrhea issue for Otis, and I have not been successful in seeing what Jack is doing with his BMs again so still no YA in the kibble, just the Elsey's. It's gonna be along week. Hang in there all...

Afternoon Christine, well I'm happy to hear that Jack is feeling better and he's back to being the scooch that he is when it comes to his feeding choices .
Oh Jack what are we going to do with you :p
You hang in their too Christine :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Christine!

Glad to hear Jack is back to his normal self. Of course on Monday, right? Murphy's law!

Is Otis eating and acting normal? Maybe you can get a stool sample to the vet to see if there's anything remarkable going on.

The vet clinic doesn't have a vet available until Thurs of this week, ad the first available appt is Saturday. Abby goes Sat so I'll take the Otis poop then. I don'thave the time to make 2 trips, it's an hour one way. He is getting better (we are up to soft serve ice cream instead of water) so still on metronidazole. I think he is just having a flare of whatever ails him....never officially diagnosed, possible IBD, that's why meds always on hand.

Good thinking with the Flagyl. Yeah I keep all sorts of meds in the house too. Good luck with Abby, I hope all works out.

Have you tried Fortiflora for Otis? Usually for diarrhea I find it stiffens the poops up a bit.

I hope Jack is behaving! :bighug:

I have some florti-flora in my rerigerator, I'll check the exp. date, he and Socks have been good for a while so I haven't been paying attention with everything else going on...sigh...great reminder....thanks, I don't think my brain is firing on all cylinders lately.
