Everything looking good so far today minus the fact that I had the hardest time getting either ear to bleed, but we made it through. He was such a good little man, I know it didn't feel good.

Also I turned my back for all of two seconds last night and that sneaky snake had pushed one of my dogs out of the way and had his head in the bowl. Idk if he got any but he had a slight spike in his PMPS so I would say he got a little. Gotta keep an eye out on that food stealing ninja

ah, the power of the dry kibble! sometimes kitties even steal it at the neighbor's house. i discovered mine would go to the neighbor who fed her cat in the garage and left the garage door up a few inches for kitty to go in and out. that was one of the reasons that punkin and felix had to become indoor kitties. felix was obese and i was trying to control his food, and there he was, eating at the neighbor's! ohmygod_smile

Giuseppe is looking great on the Lev. I would strongly encourage you to get at least one before-bed test - cats are notorious for going lower at night and because the dosing is based upon the low point, it becomes really important to get the night cycle test in. just one before you go to bed, or varying between +2 and whenever you go to bed, will really fill out the picture.

Yes he is a hungry hungry hippo only in a skinny body. He's a large cat his ideal weight is around 12lbs, he's about 7lbs right now so he's got a little way to go and he will try anything and everything to steal a couple bites.

I will try and get more night time tests in, he does seem to drop lower at night. Sometimes its hard for me to stay awake but i'm going to try to move his shot time to a few hrs earlier.

that's a great solution - then you can get evening tests in before you go to bed.

we shot punkin at 7/7 and usually stayed up til 11:30pm, so i could always get a +3 and usually a +4.5. that helped a lot in telling us what he was doing in the evening cycle.
