Yesterday's Condo

My kitties, Gabby mostly, kept me up last night. After the requisite after-the-lights-go-out-cuddling, Gabby exited the bed and stationed herself in the cubes. She clearly had something to play with in there and play she did! I think she was smacking a spring around. Of course, the cubes were wiggling and sliding along the floor. This piqued Gizmo's curiosity so he would either stick his head in or smack at the outside of the cube. The festivities probably went on for a good half hour.

This morning, Gabby is relaxing in a box. After all, it was a tough night.

My two love to wait until everyone is in bed to start shenanigans as well! I guess it makes it that much more fun when you're playing when you shouldn't be!! ;-)

Saturday nite parties and noooo curfew - hee hee hee! Sunday's are for sleeping in - oh to be young again!

kitties sleep all day and then want to play all night - probably just to make their beans a little crazy! :lol:

are ya feeling any better today? mouth surgery thingies suck. to say it succinctly! ;-)

My mouth is feeling better. I really don't think eating anything too crunchy or chewy is a good idea yet. My gums are still achy. What is really sore is the roof of my mouth where the novocaine injections were.

i had to have this horrible surgery done for resorption(sp?) a few years ago and they couldn't get it numb because it was all inflamed. i swear i felt like it was medieval. the oral surgeon was like jekyll and hyde - so nice, the nicest man you ever met, but let him loose inside your mouth and he was torture.

you have my greatest sympathy. this is time for milkshakes. there's no sub for that to make your mouth feel better.

Julie -- why didn't you go to an oral surgeon that used gas? I tend to agree -- dentistry is the modern day equivalent of medieval torture but what you got, was torture.

Gabby has been doing her best to be affectionate this afternoon. I'm trying to read someone's dissertation and it's been a very annoying process. Gabby wants to curl up on my chest and purr (and give a kitty kiss, every so often). It's much better than reading a dissertation! Of course, seeing her numbers, it's probably been a ploy for food.

Sorry about our mouth. I would rather have major surgery than go to the dentist. Gabby is just trying to let you know you don't have to read the dissertation. When I read and Tuffy wants attention, she either tries to flip the pages or put her face in the way. They do have their moments.

Last time I had novocaine I asked him to use less epi and it seemed to help. Hope your mouth feels better soon.

Gabby keeps you up at night too i see!!! then you are wide awake and it's time for her nap and you can't sleep....it's all a conspicarcy!!! :lol:

of course i didn't know that it wasn't going to get numb until we were well into it. but when my dentist suggested i go back to that oral surgeon i said nothankyouverymuch.

sweet of gabby to help you read - hahahaha - like only a cat can help! that must've been just a teeny bit distracting.
